Nah it's not. It's called surviving. Living. Financial security.

Even at the cost of relationships, friendships, morality and reputation?

Money comes and goes, but legacy lives on for eternity.

I mean Benn is not a particularly beloved person anyway, but this just adds another notch to his scumbag belt.

Fairly relentless business move that. Hearn has some right to be bitter but boxing is a harsh business and this shows it once again.

Yeah not arguing, they said eight figures, I was wondering what currency was quoted.

Boxing is a business. For both promoters and fighters. It goes both ways. If Hearn for example was working with a b grade fighter but had the opportunity to work with an A+ fighter and he had to make a choice, who do you think he's going to choose? No different for the fighter. It's about money. Not friends. If you can sign with an employer who's going to provide more for you and a better future, you do it. Also what's going to happen to Benn once he's over the hill and retired from boxing? Who's going to provide for him then.

Does nothing for his character! Benn is all show anyway so I'm not surprised personally.

He could at least given him a phone call. I understand the business side of it. But not the friendship aspect or what should have been.

Yeah, of course. But this is not a good look for a guy who's already viewed pretty negatively by many Boxing fans, and could be a terrible business move if Zuffa fails. What's Benn gonna do then, beg Matchroom or Queensberry to embrace him again? Who can trust someone that leaves his loyal business partner for their worst enemy?

And this is Dana White we're talking about, a guy who created "Power Slap" as a legitimate sanctioned sport.

All Zuffa contracts are in USD, it'll be that.

Some guy who interviewed Benavidez said 15 mil for one fight the winner gets Ryan. Assuming he means Ryan Garcia.

    **** knows.

....and so it begins. Eggcellent move by Zuffa. Couldn't happen to a more smug **** than the banal Hearn. Wipe that egg off your chin, Edward.

It's funny how dogs are loyal yet when humans do wrong to another they're deemed as dogs. A " dog " act.

Should be called a human act.

One silver spoon going behind the other silver spoons back! Eddie will come out swinging after he had to back Benn though his drug cheating, as well as his overall cringe behaviour.
