Hard to believe Russell is the same guy who beat Ennis 3 times, beat Hitchins multiple times, and looked sensational in the amateurs. Not saying Hiraoka isn't a good fighter, of course he is, but Russell just had no plan B there, and I think someone like Keyshawn flatlines Hiraoka, he's far too open.

I think Hiraoka won by a round or 2; the scorecards were far too wide, though, but it was nowhere near the robbery people think it was. Repeated low blows, smothering his own work, and got caught a few times himself. Two solid guys at that weight though, for sure.

No, I disagree with you guys. Yes very close fight, but Russell was doing more work.

Hiraoka wasn’t active enough and would wait minutes before throwing anything meaningful. He supposedly fights best on his backfoot, yet landed nothing significant while doing so.

He clearly could have won, but he waisted his opportunity. Not sorry for him

What exactly was Russell landing in those rounds to award them to him without hesitation?

    How wide were those cards?

Aren’t the judges scoring body shots and effective pressure from Hiraoka? I thought Hiraoka won by a round or two.

    As expected.

In reality Hiraoka won by a clear margin, but Las Vegas judges can be counted on to rob foreign boxers.

Thieving scumbags strike again. No foreigner should ever fight in the US they will rob you blind vs their boys virtually every single time. I do mean EVER! They would barely have any world champs at all if they even played remotely fair.

Hiraoka stood no chance. They're all in on it. Their refs, judges, and the commentary team. There's not a way in hell GAR won that, let alone by those scores

He was just landing in general half the rounds hiroka didn't start doing **** till the last minute of the round, I thought a draw was fair but people on here giving hiroka 9/10 rounds is outrageous
