Nah Hearn is very loyal to who he's most closest too.

Barry Hearn had all the top snooker talent signed up bar Alex Higgins.
Snooker is different to boxing and SD and Hearn a father, son relationship.Didn't need a contract.

Eddie Hearn only thing he'd like to do to CB with a snooker ball and get a sock like Carlin 4737 did in Scum!

Hearn is a really bad judge of character if he thought he could be a bit complacent about Benn signing a new contract.

Benn has acted in exactly the way you would expect someone to act who has been involved in two failed PED tests against a weight drained opponent. Then lied about it afterwards, and then shaken down his promoter for living expenses whilst he was serving a silent ban.

It is congruent behaviour lets face it.

I like Hearn but even if you hate him the loyalty he showed to benn was above and beyond.

    Benn what a lowlife rat

Total nonsense. Hearn protected his asset in order to make money off of him and to sustain the Matchroom brand - which, by the way, has been in decline on UK soils for a quite a while.

How can that be perceived as loyalty when it was clearly a financial decision? Loyalty is tested when no material gains can be accrued.

That Benn interview is hilarious. Making it all about giving his kids a better life when he is already a millionaire and he acted a snake.

Benn about to learn the grass isn’t always greener.

Hearn has been treated poorly. MR were very good to Benn.

Let’s see who Dana White puts him in with but he doesn’t do gimmes, and Benn isn’t that good

I know, he's so full of it. If it's all about the kids Conor, why do you spunk so much money up the wall on Rolls Royce's, Luis Vuitton G-strings and Gucci handbags on yourself?
You could have retired a multi-millionaire with some integrity and a fan base, or you could retire an even bigger multi-millionaire with no integrity, a reputation of a cheating rat and everyone dislikes you. Fair play, you chose the second option.
A few years ago when he did that interview, when he was looking in the camera all sincere and talking about how much loyalty means to him and how he was team Matchroom, we can see what a liar he is and we are supposed to believe him about those drug tests now?

Yeah it’s comedy. He’s talking like he’s grafting to put food on the table when he’s already a millionaire. Just own it: you chased the biggest cheque and moved like a snake doing it. Don’t dress it up as some “for the kids” sob story. After the two Eubank fights alone, even if he cleared debts/loans, he likely still walked away cash rich, mortgage free, and sitting on something like £5–10m net. Invest that properly and you’re set.

Problem is lads like Benn scale their lifestyle up and down with their income, so there’s never “enough”. We’ve seen it a million times with boxers. He’s exactly the type to drop £300–500k on a car that loses half its value the second it leaves the lot, same with all the jewellery and flash.

And the irony is Matchroom would’ve protected him matchmaking-wise too. He might get some of that with Dana, but one bad loss, especially a KO, and his value can drop 90–99% overnight, particularly if it’s some unknown who flattens him. He also doesn’t seem to realise he’s just a pawn in the bigger game between Turki, Dana and Eddie.

Is flaunting his Rolls Royce, Ferrari and Lamborghini on instagram a choice for his children?
