Hopefully they don't get rid of thev Ali act and start trapping boxing in long contracts being paid the crappy money that UFC fighters are paid.

Conor Benn and Andy Ruiz are not good signings for Zuffa. Neither has much of a future.

However, Zuffa has signed some better fighters like Dzambekov, Opetaia, Ajagba, Butaev, Bohachuk, and Kuchmenov.

A proper kick in the bollocks for Hearn this. A real sickener.

Boxing is and always has been a dirty old game.

In a usual scenario, you wouldn’t really blame Benn for taking a big money offer but given the back story of this, with Hearn backing him and basically putting his reputation on the line throughout the whole drug scandal whilst also making him a multi millionaire… baring in mind he made a big loss on the first show that was cancelled due to the failed test…. It’s a betrayal really. Especially going to Dana white.

Reading between the lines as well it doesn’t sound like Nigel or Tony Sims were involved either… people have been in Conor’s ear. A story we’ve seen so many times in boxing.

    Very briefly.

Now he's 7 years older and hasn't fought since 2024. He will turn 37 this year and he's never taken good care of himself. He's fought only 3 times since Joshua.

    But Ryan wants Shakur.

Benn was at the Barrios fight probably expecting Ryan to call him out, but Ryan called out Shakur. Lol.

Outside of stealing Joshua, it was the biggest kick in the guts White could give Hearn and he didn't hesitate doing it and has enjoyed it immensely.

As for who Hearn blames. Clearly both Keith Connolly, who he has since referred to as 'a dog' and Conor Benn.

Yep this 100% good post. Like you said normally you wouldn't blame someone for taking a great offer but after everything Eddie did for him it seems like a new low for Benn.

This. That Joshua win was his moment. It's long passed.

    I don’t understand people…
When Hearn tried to sign Ben Whitaker and get him to leave his team, and Ben Whitaker agreed, many supported it and was mocking boxxer.

When Hearn tried to sign Wilder and get him to leave his team, and wilder stayed loyal to his team, many still hold it against wilder

When Dana white tried to sign Benn and get him to leave his team, and Benn agreed, people are in uproar about his loyalty.

so the court of public opinion is inconsistent.

By the above examples, only loyalty to Hearn is considered respectful, if you are loyal to anyone else, we will hold it against you.

Couldn't disagree more. If you are such a loyal manager and care so deeply about your fighter, why is your offer so much lower than some random startup? Clearly, Hearn was only loyal to a point.

Well done on Benn to get paid especially since his loyal manager wasnt paying him.
