Canelo ducked him, Bivol and beterbiev obviously don’t want that work. I heard David gave Bivol a beat down in sparring. This reminds me of GGG but worse because at least Benavidez is moving up multiple weight classes.

    Jai Opetaia is.

Benavidez will most likely fight atleast one of the two from Bivol/Beterbiev once they conclude their trilogy business and he’s getting to challenge a Champion up a weightclass. Opetaia can’t even get unifications in his own weightclass because of the serial ducking.

Jai is the biggest duck in boxing. How can you look at his opposition and say he’s being ducked? He’s gotta be one of the worst champions (in terms of who he fights) that I’ve ever seen. For a decently long reigning champ the only one worse I’ve seen is Wilder besides 105ers. It’s journeyman after journeyman for Jai.

I'm very curious about Beterbiev vs Benavidez. Can Beterbiev be as savage as before against Benavidez? Can Benavidez bully Beterbiev like he did to others so far?

Opetaia was in negotiations with CBS who chose Ramirez over him. Then Ramirez was supposed to fight Opetaia but chose Benavidez instead. And lets face it, Benavidez wont face Opetaia either.

Possibly, he was at 168 and 175 at bad times for a legit challenger.

Until we see Beterbiev visibly slip and dramatically age, I believe he is still elite.

He finished both fights against Bivol very strong. I mean he split open Bivol's eye and really took it to him. It's just a shame he took a few rounds off and allowed Bivol to build that lead.

I have it 7-5 apiece for both guys.

Jaron Ennis is the one ducking other fighters and taking pointless rematches against gatekeepers.

    Aaron Mckenna

No middleweight wants anything to do with him since his one sided impressive beatdown of Liam Smith. No one even mentions his name.

Breakout performance against Smith, yet 10 months later and still no fight scheduled since.

Because the other names in the division won't sign up to fight him

What do you suggest he does? Fight nobody?

Ducked by two undisputed champions in consecutive divisions? Has that ever happened in history? Canelo and Bivol both clearly don't want that work. They both derailed his career badly. Imagine if he was given the chance to fight and beat them..

LOL it's pretty obvious that Benavidez is ducking Bivol and Beterbiev.
