It was very boring. One of Usyk's most boring fights, actually.

Tyson Fury hasn't looked like himself in the ring since 2022. And he doesn't seem to know what style he should employ anymore. He's been lost in the ring for a while now.

The Whyte fight was his last great performance.

Easily the two most high level heavyweight fights of the past decade.

Absolute utter nonsense of a thread and opening post.

Was a good entertaining and technical fight which you dont get too much of.

Fury lost by 4 rounds to the best in the division. Hardly shameful.

And to counter your points about fury doing nothing. Well he won rounds and he actually threw more punches than usyk
    did.

He was in good enough shape to last the distance with the best fighter on the planet and out work him.

Someone who isn't in shape can't do that.

It was a good technical fight. Usyk was excellent and and fury was good with good not being good enough.

You don't lose by only 4 rounds against the best if you don't perform yourself.

He was in the absolute worst shape of his career. He was without tone. His torso and arms were like jelly. He was the heaviest of his career. He was caught between styles. And he hasn't looked good since the Whyte fight.

The eyes don't lie. The scale doesn't lie (at heavyweight).

I enjoyed Fury for most of his career. Big fan. Liked the whole picture. Personality. Fighting styles. Everything he brings. He was a real bright spot, to me, for the whole sport. And I always thought he'd fight into his 40s. And, near the end, he'd win and lose and win and lose ... but his skills would keep him a factor in the game well into his 40s.

And that still may be true, to an extent.

But THE FACT is he has been awful from the Ngannou fight on. Just not very good at all. It didn't matter if the guy in the other corner was Usyk or the guy in the other corner had ZERO wins in boxing. Fury hasn't looked good.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he lost his next fight to that caveman he's fighting.

He's off. Caught between styles. The only place he used to control in his life was the ring. And, for the past several years, he hasn't been able to control that, either.

He was in worse shape for wilder 1.

Again you do t got the distance and only lose by 4 rounds to usyk if your not in shape. Extra weight doesn't mean not in shape .. going 12 and out punching usyk means your in shape.

it was pretty boring in comparison to the first fight that had ebbs and flows and some drama

I don't remember the rematch being boring but it was clearly a notch below the first fight. Fury tried to be more defensive and avoid nearly being KO'd but at the same time he never opened up and had the offensive success that he had in the first fight. A few rounds were close and Fury could have let his hands go more and he may have carried them on activity. He also may have been clocked

He fought great for Wilder 1, compared to his last three outings. And he was 30 pounds lighter. And he could still come on strong after a 12th round knockdown that nearly took his head off ... to rally at the close.

When was the last time you saw that?

Again, the eyes don't lie. Watch the first Wilder-Fury fight and watch Fury against Usyk last time. It's shocking how awful he looks physically. And he simply can't choose a style anymore. He's all over the place.

Use your eyes. I'm not going to argue the point because it's so obvious to anyone with working eyesight.

Show footage to someone who never watches boxing, and ask which version of Tyson Fury is BETTER. Nobody is going to say his last fight. Hell, he looked better physically in fights that were supposedly banana peels, like against guys like Steve Cunningham, than he did last time out.

    281 and fat as hell.

i dont think he laid it all on line , hence he could go the rounds , low punch output, lots of punches on compubox just him flicking out a jab etc

    His fitness was terrible

coming in like that , he had to just go for it and risk being kod , his ego didnt let him , he knew he wouldnt outbox him but still did that tactic in terrible shape knowing he wouldnt win , if you want to do that tactic need to be in top shape and he wasnt nowhere near it

didnt come in top nick and didnt roll the die, those are just two facts

He might of won two or three rounds , so what ,

You do realise the extra weight for usyk 2 was deliberate..it was planned. How he looks is down to genetics..he fared better against usyk than Joshua did and threw more punches than Joshua did. And AJ was about 7% body fat!

Again you don't last 12 rounds with usyk and throw more punches than him if your not in shape

So what... Again you don't last the full twelve rounds and lost by only 4 rounds against the best in the world if your not in shape.

You do realise his punch output for the 2nd fight was higher than the 1st....

Fury wasn't terrible, usyk was just better.

And since maths ain't your strong point he won a minimum of 4 rounds not 2 as you suggested.
