OT: P4P is mostly cope for smaller fighters but GGG I guess, weak opposition but he did pretty much everything he could have done. Canelo losses are pretty good too considering his age, performance and how good Canelo himself is.

 

H2H I take Foreman too Hell, even Golovkin would probably take Foreman.

I didn't say what I thought would happen if you made GGG a heavyweight though.

Realistically for me, a conversation like this would have to account for legacy and influence. I still think that George Foreman's power wouldn't calculate down as well and I don't know if GGG's style would translate up, either. In a vacuum, George Foreman is the man you'd rather have on your side in a real fight, and he's the man I'd rather have my money riding on in some hypothetical bet for my life.

It seems people in here are discussing resume at length, and in that discussion, there is no discussion, it's Big George.

Yes, GGG was never outclassed. But then he never fought the same level of opposition.

He didn't fight as many fights, or for as long.


Who knows what GGG's record would have been like, had he fought prime guys like Evander at a very advanced age.
