no need for insults mate whats the need

I and many others would not give him 4, no chance for me

he didnt throw much in either , and he didnt roll the die in either

even in his best shape against Klitschko in low output he was gassed in twelve round , and he was in much worse nick in the usyk rematch and much older

Don't act stupid then, to suggest fury possibly only one 2 rounds when usyk only won by 4 rounds is very stupid.

Your claim was he was terrible and not in shape.

The facts are he gave the best fighter in the world a very tough fight and went the distance whilst throwing more punches than he did in the first fight.

Neither of those two things happen if your not in shape or are terrible.

Terrible relative to his capability obviously ffs

it was a rubbish performance and he won maybe 2/3 round imo

he was in terrible nick also , the fact your saying he wasnt is laughable it was hardly high octane

No need to take your small man syndrome out on me and have heart attack when ppl disagree , nobody in Brit forum agrees with you on this mate lol

He has imo given usyk his two toughest fights in his career. Fury isn't at usyks levels and gave him his best fights.

To say someone that can go 12 rounds and out punch the greatest heavyweight of our era and isn't in shape or was terrible is IMO (and many others) absolute stupidity.

It also tells me you haven't boxed a round in your life it you think someone out of shape can manage that.

"He was 20 pounds heavier than their first meeting"

Much more likely he had weights in his pockets, he also did this for McDermott 2 according to his own admission. In reality he was likely marginally heavier than he was in his first fight.

It's true he didn't roll the dice, that was poor. He thought "if I keep it close and don't get dropped this time, I can nick a questionable decision if need be, and even if I lose, I will likely stay un-KO'd." Wealth, success and hard fights usually sap determination over time.

The performance itself wasn't bad or "terrible", though Fury was 9 years removed from his absolute best as a boxer, for my money. Compare how Fury 2 did with prime Dubois against a still older Usyk.

Fury gave all he had but that was at a level where ngannou gave fury also a tough fight .

Usyk was a touch better and has beaten this version of fury. I do not agree with fury when he says that he won. Usyk won .

Usyk won both, both fights were close and competitive but the results were clear.

I just hate it when folk who have clearly never laced up a set of gloves claim you can do things like go 12 rounds with usyk whilst not being in shape. And it is possible for you to still box well and lose, especially if fighting someone better than you

I boxed as an amateur. I finished second in the state of Illinois at 156 in the Silver Gloves in 1980.

What I can't stand are guys who see a pear-shaped pro come in the heaviest and most out-of-shape of his entire career, his arms and torso just jelly, and can't admit he's overweight.

It was a boring fight. Fury was woefully out of shape. He was caught between styles. He had no plan. And that's been the case for years now, whether he was fighting the best (Usyk) or a guy with ZERO fights in boxing (Ngannou).

He hasn't fought great since 2022, no matter who he's been in there with.

I rooted for him to dominate all those fights. I'm a fan. But he's been a mess in the ring for a while now, going back years.

There's no shame in admitting that. It's true.

    Who said he wasn't overweight....

I'm asking you the question...could someone not in shape go 12 with usyk and throw more punches than him?

Tyson Fury has been boxing his whole life. Guys with decades of experience know how to throw a lot of punches and pace themselves, whether in shape or not. Muhammad Ali, at 60, overweight, and with Parkinson's that barely allowed him to walk, could hit the speed bag consistently for long periods of time, throwing hundreds of punches. Throwing a lot of punches isn't the measure.

He was not fit. Clearly. And he was stuck between styles. Do you know what that means?

    Whatever. Nevermind.

Tyson Fury was in the greatest shape he's ever been in Usyk 2 ... in his entire career. Never has he ever been in greater condition, more fit, sharper, or more dangerous. That was his plan all along. And he pulled it off brilliantly.

Is that the story? Is that what you want everyone to say?
    Have at it.

Jesus, some people just refuse to believe their own eyes.

In his next fight, when he looks as bad as he did against the guy with no wins (Ngannou), you guys will be the first to say he's no longer got it. But he hasn't for a while. Clearly.

Relative to what was expected of Fury, I agree.

Claimed he was going to be super aggressive. That he was going to rough Usyk up. Then believed that holding ring centre/avoiding being treated like a pinball = winning rounds.

The reality is - despite the 'Wilder 2' Fury rhetoric - an aggressive Fury gets stopped.

Your clutching at straws mate comparing a world title fight against the best to a punching bag.

He was in with the best, you don't get through 12 and throw more punches if your not in some sorta shape.

Body fat levels are not always the sign of fitness.

Am I saying he was at his best, his fittest no course not.

Anyone who knows anything knows fine well you can't go the distance in a competitive fight especially with some one like usyk if your ain't in at least semi decent shape.
