Gennady was great, did everything right, but Foreman was a force of nature.
Could Golovkin completely destroy and make look like a little boy a middleweight of the calibre of a Frazier?
Sometimes the wrong answer is the right answer

 

Let's contrast that to the Golovkin approach. I assume I don't need to explain why Golovkin is boxing on a different level to Foreman?

That’s true, I think Foreman’s oafishness is exaggerated however. He knew how to make his attributes work for him.

Golovkin was consistent and had everything going for him, maybe he was never the quickest.
Could a middleweight uncle Jimmy type character beat an out of sorts Golovkin? I think they’re both top ten at their weights so it has to be close?

I don't know how to restate my argument other than to say that until GGG got old, he was a force of nature. There was literally no style that he could not cope with.

Foreman came back and regained what had been his. I think it is a truism that heavyweights age better than the lighter weights. There's no way Golovkin could do that. Foreman was a smarter fighter by far in his return but he no longer had the physical edge over his opponents. He still had the same weakness of guys being able to outbox him.

It just seems to me that Golovkin had an answer to everything technically and that physically he was even better P4P than Foreman, even though he was a smallish or middle of the road middleweight.
