He just seemed to lose the ability to punch with conviction after that. Reflexes must have been fried.

He was so monumentally awful against T-Rex arms Truax and Eubank. Truax has to be one of the worst champions ever, by the way.

If only he had something - anything - left he could have put Eubank Jr as a PPV attraction to bed a few years earlier.

Lost to Zerafa in 2019 and should have been twice. Then Tszyu ended his career in 2020. Horn had his 5 minutes of fame vs Pac.

 

Way too many variables at play to put Tyson‘s decline down to that.

Could just as easily say Prison vs Tyson. Honestly, his vaunted bob-and-weave style was on its way out before the Douglas fight.

 

If Tyson actually trained for that fight and had Rooney in his corner he would have won. But he didn't. Douglas changed the course of boxing bistory that night.

Horn had to be getting slow and gun shy from the floggings he took along the way, and now Wardley is doing similar.

 

Horn actually did really good against Pacquiao.
