Not actually a terrible fight. Even at 37 is a solid opponent. What weight will be a key thing? If they are dragging Regis to 154 or a catch weight it's typical Benn MO.

Only lost 3 times, never stopped. But wins over Diaz Jnr, Turbo Terry, Indongo a real close fight with Josh Taylor so we know Regis is tough and skilled it's just how much does he have in the tank.

$15 million to fight Prograis? Great work if you can get it. How has this charlatan managed to finesse the sport so effectively? Even without his special eggs, Benn should win this one. Prograis looked like a shell of himself against Haney, and presumably the fight will be above 147, where Prograis has never fought before. Would love it if Prograis pulled it out of the bag, though.

    It's a terrible fight
Regis is totally washed, and at a catch weight of 150

    Benn is a fraud

TBF to Prograis, I thought his fight with Catterall was razor close up until the ninth where Prograis was knocked down twice, and I think Catterall would easily outbox Benn. I see Prograis holding his own here, but unfortunately for him it is probably one of those situations where he needs to KO Benn to get a draw.

Exactly. Only reason Benn is fighting him. Prograis used to be a great fighter but his best days are behind him now. Benn wins this.

Maybe the organisers have seen a real decline in Regis. Still a big name, but being served up. Much like van Heerden & Algieri were for Conor before.

    Ah 150??
Yeah pointless. Benn's MO all over isn't? Mention name after name.. Then stack in the deck in his favor with BS weight clauses or whatever.
Still Regis has enough skills to cause Benn problems but the size issue remains.

To be fair, Benn is moving down in weight. The last time Benn fought at 147 was in 2022, he has been 150lbs+ ever since.

    Still a cherry picked opponent.

    Nothing really to fair about
Dragging up a career 140 pounder to a catch weight is terrible esp after all Benns Bravado

Yes, but Benn himself is moving down to said catch-weight. So hes not imposing a random catch-weight like Canelo did back in the day, by pretending to fight at 147 when making his opponents fight at 150.

And yes, they at the same time are dragging a much smaller opponent up in weight. Benn could do what Canelo did, and fight actual welterweights, but his management is too cowardly to do so.

Exactly so it's a terrible fight

He plans on challenging for the 147 belt so let him actually fight at that weight
