Is this confirmed ? Haven’t heard anything. Also isn’t it same day as the Wardley Dubois fight?

I hope this fight does NOT happen, and Usyk fights Kabayel instead.

Or maybe signs with Zuffa for one fight and takes on Ajagba or Ruiz.

    Poor.

Especially as it’s almost been a year since his last fight.

Disgraceful. Not content with having successfully ducked Parker, Usyk also continues to duck Kabayel

On the bright side, the event will completely flop as Usyk isn’t a big draw without a known B-side, and no casual knows who Rico Verhoeven is

It was well reported this fight was coming, but I didn't expect it to be hosted next to the pyramids. I won't try and pull the wool over anybody's eyes and say this fight has any sporting merit, but if Usyk wants to take a circus fight for an easy payday then he has certainly earnt that right (more so than Joshua and Fury anyway).

So he’s dropping the wba and ibf belts? you cant just choose what belts you can defend, and the ring belts line on the line also?

Now I understand why the WBC recently forced Usyk to face Kabayel after a voluntary defense. This match is obviously an insult to boxing history and to the fighters who sweat to climb the rankings and try to earn a world title shot. I'm disgusted.

The WBA and IBF simply wont sanction this fight, that's it.

Also, what a horrendous fight. At least we get to see Usyk KO someone again, as a Usyk fan I have something to look forward to. Plus, Rico has earned himself a payday.
