Conor Benn signs for Zuffa

It's got to be AJ signed up as well. I can't think what else it could be. He's not got much left in the stable that Zuffa want to pinch. Either that or they've merged with someone big.

 

Eddie has proverbially tied his todger to a sinking ship by abandoning Sky Sports and going all in on DAZN. Regardless of what DAZN are paying him, I don't know anybody who actually subscribes and their reach is a fraction of Sky. If Zuffa signs for Sky then by default they will dominate the mainstream of British boxing.

Usyk ducked Wardley. I don’t care how much better he is than him but avoiding Wardley to fight a kick-boxer who is obviously going to get schooled is top tier quackery.

I’d bet that if Wardley didn’t have a reputation as a puncher Usyk would have fought him no bother

 

If all the big names have or will soon sign with Zuffa I’m baffled by dazn signing a new 5 year, half a bil £ contract with MR.

However at that stage he should be looking to fight a pro boxer at least

 

I dunno mate, it sells out a stadium in the UK IMO with the right promotion and a decent undercard. Yes the Rico fight is more lucrative and far easier but I definitely think the decision to avoid Wardley for it was made easier by the thought of Wardley’s power.

Maybe Turki isn’t interested in it.
I don’t like the Rico fight at all but if Usyk only has a couple left he’s probably just following the money.

 

I believe it’s just the MR contact. Not 100% sure though.
