I gave him more than a shot to beat Joshua and Fury, I actually picked him

let’s not act like this is the first time. He fought Bellew at cruiser instead of rematching Breidis who actually gave him a hard fight. Bellews best achievement was beating the ghost of David Haye while Breidis was the second best cruiser in the world and miles ahead of Bellew.

I didn't like it when Fury did it, but since I like Usyk much better, it's ok by me. Fury is to blame.

 

Why would Usyk be given the right to hold the belts hostage and stall the division with this fight, they should be taken away from him immediately because the fights with Kabayel and Wardley did not materialize.

He clearly is one of the greats. Especially at HW. To pretend otherwise is pure stupidity. Schilt said to Rico backstage in 2012 that hes the future and sure enough he was. You dont dominate a sport for 10 years and not be great.

 

Will it be a crossover fight?

 

Big fan of both guys so I'm a bit biased here. But Rico is a great guy so im happy that hes getting the opportunity. It also may shed some needed light on kickboxing which has unfortunately been on life support for quite some time. Objectively on paper its not a great fight, but kickboxers are elite standup fighters, and many have had success transitioning to boxing so Rico may do better than expected. as for Usyk taking this fight... Guy has literally been a road warrior for his entire career beating top notch competition. 1 glamour spectacle fight is not the end of the world.
