Why does Usyk seem to avoid in-form contenders?

I wish Usyk had fought more but it's not that rare for a HW to fight 1x per year nowadays. People saying top names don't add anything to his resume are incorrect. It's hard to believe that, new talent included, Usyk will be ranked as a top 10 HW in 30 years.

    Dont act childish
    Your better than that

It's not a free division at all
Even yourself in another post on here admitted Uysk should drop other belts and keep one

    I agree

It's a terrible fight no matter how much you try and dress it up and it's a disgrace with a belt on the line withholding professional boxers from challenging

And why is Wardley MY champ?

Uysk is taking liberties right now, unfortunately your kinda in the minority really thinking otherwise

    I'm not angry, just disappointed

It's not childish to tell the truth, and no, you don't get to take a position of faux superiority. He surrender a belt and arranged things with the WBC so he could have an event fight. that's all. The opposite of what you are claiming happened, actually happened. He has absolutely NOT held up the division.

Look, Wardley is your champion, now. I'll stick with Usyk, and I am pretty confident that Kabayel will be next before the year is out. I would actually like to see a Parker-Wardley rematch first before he goes down that route, as I don't think Wardley won it clean.

But no, factually speaking, nothing is being held up.

Add where he fought these guys too. This resume plus locations are the definition of a ****ing gauntlet. It will be a long time, maybe not even in our lifetime time that we see someone do what Usyk does and go undisputed at cruiser and heavy against elite opposition like Fury and Joshua.

    Why is Wardley MY champion??

I'm a big Uysk fan, but won't justify bollocks like this despite his great past

Factually speaking 3 belts ARE held up for professional boxers to challenge for

They aren't held up. IBF was just settled, WBA has just crowned a new #1 who is not due, and WBC has said he is due after this voluntary. No one is held up. Factually not true.

Mate you can justify it to yourself all you want, it's your right

It's a terrible fight and bad for the division in many people's eyes

The division is already dog **** besides the top dogs which Usyk cleared out. If Wlad did this instead of fighting bums like Leapai I honestly wouldn’t have cared.

Why don’t Wardley and Kabayel fight. There isn’t a clear #2, they’re also both mediocre.

    Be a great fight

Wardley is at least defending against a professional boxer soon

    I quite like the division

It'll be fondly remembered in the future imo

Careful. Very salty bunch on here if you criticise Usyk in any way shape or form.

The guy is a brilliant boxer but the refusal to fight mandatories, the lack of activity while chasing money fights etc. Any other fighter would get all sorts of abuse on here but Usyk seems to get given a pass.

    Honestly I don't care

I'm a huge fan but no fighter is above criticism
