Why does Usyk seem to avoid in-form contenders?

Fury, AJ and Dubois, who beat Joshua, and the Hrgovic that some people here are crying over.

Dubois is a bit debatable...but not much. Wardley and Kabayel don't have the wins to match his wins. So he is until proven otherwise.

It can be bad in their eyes...it's not hurting anybody.

We will see. If he goes the year without fighting Kabayel, that's a problem. If he fights Agit in September, then no harm done. In any sane world, the man has an optional coming to him.

I would rather see him fight Kabayel, Wardley or Parker.

I would rather see him fight Ruiz or Wilder for nostalgia.

But I'll watch this, as long as bette things are on the horizon.

Dubois has never been a top 3 heavy since klit era. You’re reaching there.

Usyk has achieved enough where we can be honest about what he’s done, no need to hype Dubois (the boy quitter) up that much.

WHAT? I am sorry but this is absurd.

He was IBF champ and has a victory over Joshua. Who has done better outside of Usyk, Fury and Joshua?

    A name please?

Parker for starters. It doesn't matter if he has lost a bunch - his win column is better than DDD

I am a huge fan of Parker's badly wanted Usyk to fight Parker, and still do. Parker does not have a win as good as AJ, and arguably, his second best win , against Zhang or Wilder's shell, is not as good as Dubois' second best against Hrgovic, who was an undefeated contender at the time with a win against Zhang. It is at best debatable that Parker has done better, and it would hinge on the quantity of Parker's work.

I would argue that it could be argued, but realistically, Dubois gets a bit the poll position at this point.

Zhang had just demolished a top 5 heavyweight in Joyce twice. Joshua, despite looking good, had not beaten any top heavyweight in years. So beating an inform Zhang is better than beating post Usyk Joshua.

I am very skeptical of post Usyk Joshua being a great fighter. His team was matching him super carefully and he hasn’t beaten a legit top heavyweight in years.

Dubois does have a solid win over Hrgovic but even that is marred by headbutts. Fair enough, beating Hrgovic is better than beating Wilder by a massive margin.

Parker also has wins over Andy Ruiz Jr, Bakole albeit on short notice, a younger Chisora x 2. His overall depth is superior to Dubois and he has never gone down to a jab either.

But Zhang was beaten by Hrgovic, and other Dubois victim.

I'll take any version of Joshua over anyone on Parker's resume. And I think it is worth remembering that Parker has **** fights/arguable losses to Ruiz, Chisora, and Hugh Fury

And arguably Zhang, who he has an official win against.

And again, a lot of people thought he lost to Ruiz, and Chisora once, as well as Hugh Fury. I'll give him Ruiz and Fury, but he didn't beat Chisora in that first fight. He didn't come close.

In any event, do you see what hair splitting this is? Is said that Usyk has six wins over the other three best of the post-Klit era, and you can come up with one guy that you can argue maybe, maybe is a hair better than Dubois based on quantity of wins. How many angels CAN dance on the head of a pin. If Dubois has not surpassed Parker in your eyes, he will eventually, given that he is still in his 20s. Usyk has done a hell of a job exerting dominance over the fighters that matter.

Do you seriously believe that since klitschko, Dubois is the 3rd best hw?

Are you British? Coz all the fighters you think are the best are Brits.

I asked you for a name, not an attitude. I specified that I wanted a name. Who has a better record?

    Not posture, but a name.

All were champions when he beat them, so no argument is to be made that someone else would have been a better opponent.
