Johnson against Willard. For his age and beeing out of shape he did well.
Schmeling against Baer. I thought it was even before Max was stopped.
    Tyson´s first round against Lewis.
    Vitali against Lewis.

Sharkey's performance before getting iced by Dempsey was said to be his finest ever.

Absolutely. He was a superb fighter who had pretty much everything, good technical skills, power and he was pretty durable, but very inconsistent. Sort of like Zab Judah only with a better chin.

Mancini against Arguello comes to mind. Then again, guys with Mancini's style are the types that always take a bad licking in their initial loss. And they're never the same.

You could almost say Arguello vs. Pryor 1 come to think of it. The Arguello that fought that night had a lot of skills and really showed that championship heart in there. He gave 100% of himself in a losing effort.
