    I've already explained why he rematched Dubois and the fact anyone would criticize him for doing so is absurd. Aside from Dubois, rightfully or wrongfully, holding the only other belt and it being a unification match up, aside from Dubois having gone on an excellent 3 fight stoppage run sparking A and stopping arguably the 2 most iron-jawed fighters in the division both of whom either undefeated or undefeated and ranked top 5 by The Ring IIRC, there was obviously the huge controversy of the first fight and countless people out there holding that against Usyk and using it as a weapon to tear him down and that coupled with Dubois crashing his post-fight interview on a stage in front of millions watching worldwide, had Usyk not rematched him it would've be held against him forever by many

    And I don't care how dominant Usyk was in the first fight outside of that round he was 2 years older and Dubois was on a great run of form and had 2 more years of experience under his belt, even bigger and stronger for the rematch, and when you're fighting a murderous puncher with a KO 95% even in your prime who is the same size as you it comes with a high degree of risk, let alone one much younger and bigger than you when you're in your late 30s. Usyk might have got Dubois out of their quicker in the rematch but he was clearly slower and less fluid and agile than he was in the first fight due to age.

    And Usyk beat him in his own backyard on a deck stacked against him when so many others would not have agreed to do so. There were many valid reasons why he rematched Dubois

    An easy touch for guys who defended 2-3 times a year at 39 y/o? Who unlike Usyk had many easy touches in their primes? Again, it's not the same

    In addition to not scoring many knockouts, even with his feet, it's important to note he's never been more than five rounds (some of those five-rounders only being two-minute rounds).

    He's never seen a round six. Let alone a round 12. The first time he's going to go six rounds (if he manages to last that long) will be against Usyk.

    When taking a fighter "into the deep waters" means taking him to round three or round five, red flags should be going off everywhere.

    It's a terrible matchup. There's simply no reason for it. Especially since Usyk only fights once a year now. It's a waste of a training camp and a waste of his once-a-year appearance in the ring.

    No. He's not.

    He has one win over a boxer ... and the boxer had no wins and five losses.

    So, give him a shot at the World Heavyweight Champion. (That's sarcasm)

    Rarely is Jake Paul more qualified. But, in this case, he is.

    Jake's boxing opponents' combined wins total 170. Rico's single boxing opponent had ZERO wins. None.

    Ngannou is probably more dangerous because hes just as big and has more power.

    Jake Paul is a joke in comparison to either.

    Casual boxing fans will say that Usyk can afford a fight like this, but that's bull****, imagine if in his time Lennox Lewis fought Ernesto Hoost or Mike Tyson fought Mirko Cro Cop, then the fighters wouldn't allow themselves such a scam, Usyk isn't even Top 10 for me anymore.

    100%. Ngannou is just a big lead-footed powerful brute who overpowers opponents and intimidates them with his size and power. He showed a bit of guile vs Belly which caught Belly by surprise but Rico is far more technical, skilled, quick and cerebral.

    Jake was beating much smaller guys he'd dragged up in weight who were washed for the most part which shows you how much size can play a factor

    And whilst Ngannou is primarily a striker too Rico is a highly technical and cerebral fighter and elite athlete with great speed and cardio to complement that and his size. Rico hasn't lost a fight in 11 years and reigned as Glory champion for 12 years straight

    No , jakes resume in boxing is way better than rico,s .

    I hate to say this but this would be the weakest world title fight hw boxing has ever seen in his history , by far .

    Hes had more fights in boxing, thats all. His resume is largely manufactured. Rico isnt losing to washed up little JCC jr or 60 year old Mike Tyson in a boxing match either. But Jake would very likely get his head taken off, even under pure boxing rules, by many of the guys Rico has beaten.
