It's a petty move because Hearn doesn't think UFC pays its fighters well. Representing a UFC fighter to try and drive a purse up, doesn't feel like a particularly likely outcome. Dana doesn't give two shits about Aspinall or Hearn.

Not that big of a deal, Dana doesnt have strong feelings for Aspinall and a talent management agency is not the same as a promotional contract, doesnt hurt Dana anywhere near as much as Eddie would like it to.

It wouldn’t surprise me either. 2 of AJ’s last 3 fights were Ngannou and Jake Paul, and he was rumoured to face Rico Verhoeven before his car crash and Usyk subsequently took the Rico fight from him. Aspinall perfectly fits the level and profile of an AJ opponent.

Love the ****ery from Hearn lol

Aspinall is a top star in the UFC HW division, hopefully he gets his eyes sorted and becomes undisputed.

The obvious move is that he will make the switch over to boxing, with there being a lot of money on the table if he can head into that as UFC HW champ.

Perhaps a gimmick fight with AJ down the line….

It's definitely a petty yet calculated move. Quite funny IMO

Eh... I have no idea what sort of contract conditions these guys are under, but topuria or even jones would have been bigger than tom... dude is straight up a clown who has lost 95% of his fans and 99% respect. everyone just wants to see gane whoop him now, people arent even going to tune in to watch him lose like they did mayweather because he simply isn't that good. dude isnt even a semi decent draw

It might look like that at first but Tom have been pissing off UFC for awhile now so they could cut him/strip him for inactivity. It could backfire at them both.

Tom is a much more interesting what-if in boxing than Ngannou imo; he’s on a different level of speed and athleticism even compared to most big men in boxing his size, is probably on a similar level of power to Francis with that right cross.

Also, Fury’s praised of Tom’s boxing and went as far as to say that Aspinall probably could’ve gone far as a pro.

I agree, Tom is not that important to UFC anymore.
