    You agree with this? Saying that a Top 3 P4P elite fighter isn’t a star yet when he’s been selling out stadiums is pure delusional.

    I get it. Carrington's got a following in NYC and he's trying to sell a potential fight there.

    Plus, while Inoue's is a massive superstar level draw in Japan, he hasn't drawn at the same level stateside. I don't think Inoue vs Cardenas drew badly, but had Espinoza on the undercard and it certainly didn't sell out. So, I think a potential match at the Garden with a local fighter could draw pretty well and *would* elevate Inoue's star globally. Certainly stateside.

    Carrington's hoping to get hometown advantage should they ever fight but that's not going to work. Inoue isn't someone to take the bait and let others dictate the negotiations. He knows that he's the A-side and he already worked his way to the top by paying his dues, fighting out of his countries plenty of times, and continuously facing the best available oppositions and fighting frequently. If the other fighters want a piece Inoue has every right to have it in Japan, especially since he sells out stadiums and his opponents are likely to get paid more than what they'll be getting elsewhere.

    Carrington is a likeable guy and comes across well but he can beep right off here. He's a career 126 pounder, Inoue will be stepping up to his 5th weight class and 6th from the one he started out from and Carrington is bigger and naturally bigger than Inoue with a huge 72'' reach so he already has a size advantage and he's in no position to dictate terms or make any kinds of demands whatsoever or even try and wangle home advantage

    Four-weight champ vs one-weight one

    P4P#2 (former #1) vs recently crowned world champion

    27-0-0-0 (23 KOs) in world title fights vs 1-0-0 (1 KO)

    Superstar vs Relative nobody as of now

    One sells out 55,000 seater stadiums and does massive viewing figures in his homeland

    The other hasn't even headlined his own card yet

    Can't call out an infinitely more accomplished P4P superstar from a lower division and start trying to dictate terms when you've barely achieved anything in the sport and have only just recently won your first world title. Inoue says jump, you say how high, Mr Inoue?
