Foreman matches up horribly with most of them because he wasn’t bulldozing anyone of their size and durability.

Frazier beat Ali. Ali had power. If I thought Frazier matched up well with the K bros, Lewis, and Tyson, I’d rank him higher.

I have Foreman losing to the entire top ten.

 

He shutdown the division for a decade.

Povetkin, Iggy, Chagaev and Haye were better than Briggs, Mavrovic, Rahman, and Mercer, but one guy struggled against the latter four and the other made the former four look like absolute garbage in his prime years.

 

Again, though, he has such an overwhelming size advantage...he struggled with guys who were close to him in size and could punch. Sanders stoppage, Touch of Sleep put him down...

Lewis beat everyone. Never had the same problem beating guys who matched up physically.

 

Wlad didn't have a bigger size advantage over his opponents on average than Lennox.

Now you can argue for Lewis but that's not the argument IMO.

 

Wlad never got one shot like Lewis did

 

Well, yeah, he did. Who are the Frank Bruno, Donovan Ruddock, Shannon Briggs, Michael grant, Andrew Golota, Gary Mason, Vitali Klitschko etc. on Wlad's record?

Wlad's best state opponents are all guys 6'2 or smaller, with the exception of Haye who is billed a dodgy 6'3 but was a former cruiser. Those guys who physically stacked up well against Wlad aren't there.

 

And yet has more stoppage defeats.

 

Wlad went a decade and 22 fights between losses and stayed at the elite level the whole time. That's a longer streak than Lewis ever had. That's longer at the elite level than many so-called greats. And he won damn near every round during that stretch.

 

Against who, though, is my point? He fought a lot of guys that he just physically dominated. Wlad's fights were just noticeably man against boy type situations.

 

You can the average check heights and weights of all there opponents (and there's) on boxrec for a reference. Wlad faced a lot of big guys even considering inflated heights of the opponents/

Now I do actually think is Lewis ahead of Wlad I think the win vs Vitali puts it in his favour.

 

Why do you have to step outside the best ten years of Wlad’s career to find weakness? Why can you look at Lewis’ best ten years and find the issues?

Who were the quality one's though? I am asking you who were the physically impressive guys that Wlad defended his title against? They aren't there.
