I would basicly agree with you, more specifically i would call it the avoidance of an opponent who is entitled to face you and willing to face you . When the contendet ( in a pro boxing world ) is entitled to face you then he obviously must be positioned in a way that he is at least in theory competitive.

Agit is definitely entitled to face usyk for the wbc belt and he is definitely willing to face him .

We assume that usyk is superior , maybe he is , but this sport lives from the fact two athletes face in the ring and sort it out for real instead of guessing in theory.

Agit is ready , usyk not . That for me is one of the most obvious ducks .

For the record gents . I,m critisizing usyk but i,m not against usyk . I think he is a likeable boxer and i respect his achievements at olympia and at pro boxing especially at cw . I just do not like how he recently blocks the division with empty words and tactics . All i want is to see him fight legit contenders and winning . When he beats kabayel i,m the first one who applaudes.

Discussion here is a but difficult since many users tend to get emotional and support whatever s**t usyk does instead of taking a sober look at what is really happening .

He wants a gimmick fight, unification fight with wardley/dubois and then a big money fight with fury (who as of right now isn’t ranked). Yes, if he doesn’t want to defend it against mandatories in this 1-2 year run he’s playing just drop them.

If any of you believe that I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'm looking to sell.

He has to pay 3% of an eight figure purse plus risk losing the belt. There's zero reason for him to want it to be on the line.

There are lots of reason for Sulaiman to want it to be on the line, however. Money, obviously. Also to not let Turki be getting the true HW champ in a fight without sanctioning body representation. That'd be a terrible look.

Seems fairly obvious Usyk couldn't get the Wilder fight made, the Warren fighters are a no-go for a plethora of reasons that everyone is ignoring, and so he had to go with Turki's idea of Verhoeven. To get the pass from the WBC the belt has to be on the line.

Still waiting on you to denounce Bowe, Lewis, and Foreman. You just laid out some criteria that specifically define them as duckers whose legacies should be tarnished by their cowardly actions.

Anytime, bro. These are your standards, by the way. Stick to your principles!

You are of course right ! The definition of ducking applies to every boxer . That said i fo not have the entire legacy of bowe , lewis or foreman in my mind so do not know what you mean specifically .

Well thank god you are here to tell us the truth :risas3:

Although as you say Turki is behind this farce so maybe he told Uysk to do so and covered the 3% himself somewhere along the line

Truth is nobody knows because nobody has said much

Entitlement is one thing... But plenty have been entitled to fights that weren't competitive, even if in theory they probably should be.

I'm not generally willing to grant that just because someone gets a high ranking with a particular org makes them worthy - we've seen orgs rank some ridiculous fighters highly, Ngannou in the WBC top 10 with a 0-1 record, for example.

He appears to be willing - until we see them both sign, we won't know for certain... Until that point either of them could be stalling it. Kabayel claims to be desperate, but it's hard to take him seriously sometimes given his inconsistent history with wanting challenges.

Hmm... The thing is, he's not the only one stopping good fights from happening, and he's already been in plenty of good ones.

Wardley isn't stopping good fights from happening either - going from Parker to Dubois shoes some stones and ambition.

Kabayel isn't targeting anyone good - he's not even targeting anyone mediocre... He could keep busy by shutting up noisy gatekeeper Hrgovic, for example, but instead he's targeted only domestic level guys since he got his current positioning from Zhang.

I don't like guys sitting on position like that - I'd be happy for Kabayel to lose that mandatory/interim spot if he's literally going to sit on his ass until Usyk drops the belt or retires, just like I was perfectly happy when Hrgovic lost his mando after sitting on it.

Nah ... against verhouven the risk of loosing the belt is close to zero comparing it to the risk to defend the belt against kabayel .

He has very good reasons to request it being a title fight . He can stay wbc champion for at least another year , log at least in the statistics a successfull world title belt defence and simultany not really risking to loose the fight .

He may even pay more than 3% to motivate wbc to sanction this belt defence joke ...

He wants to stay world champion AND not take any risk to loose a fight .

Ah yes, so we should just take your word on it instead? I'd like some of that hard evidence since it's so obvious.

Making excuses for what Usyk is currently doing isn't worthy of debate.

Kabayel wants to fight more often, but old Fish Eyes usually keeps his non-British boxers inactive, while giving British boxer Dubois who has multiple KO losses (and is coming off a KO loss) a world title fight.

Why? Ya'll obviously don't need hard evidence to whine and cry and blame Usyk for putting the belt on the line. So why should I need evidence to say it wasn't him?

You complaining about lack of evidence while providing none of your own makes you a hypocrite.

Multiple news outlets have reported it as a WBC defense, and that has far more credibility than your "it's not though because trust me bro".

Pull your head from your backside.
