If you're calling for Itauma to get a shot at Usyk, you have no business complaining about Rico

You're accusing him of being on drugs. You do realize they're tested for substances right?

You THINK there's something wrong with him without evidence to back it up. You're not a doctor.

It's a very weak point to hinge your entire argument on, because if you were right how would fighting another heavyweight fix that? If he's cleared to fight medically and has had the VADA testing that should be more than sufficient.

And you keep avoiding this: WHY SHOULD ITAUMA BE EXPECTED TO FIGHT SOMEONE ELSE BUT RICO DOESN'T?

There's a very high chance Rico gets seriously injured here, like Ngannou did against AJ (and he came from a very brutal sport). Boxing is a very different sport to kickboxing, I've made that transition and boxing is the closet I've ever come to being severely injured.

But this thread and the rather misleading title just appears to be a front for giving Usyk a pass on what's an inexcusable fight. One that could wait until he actually retired as an exhibition.

 

You look into nothing . He is medically tested for drugs and cleared . You can of course question this , assume corrupt doctors and labs but then you can question any fight as scripted and any referee as corrupt .

Itauma is a pro guy on world level and maybe it was just his style of talking that day .

As long as there is no hard evidence you really look into just speculations on social media .

In reality usyk carried him ( even old usyk could finish rico first round easily ) thru some rounds to tell it was a tough fight and rico gets a boost in legacy meking the appearance he is better than expected .

Well , you could better say that until usyk prooves he is fit to face legit contenders and not kickboxers he has no business to hold a belt .

 

I know fury fought ngannou and Floyd Patterson fought a debuting Olympic gold medalist
