Can George Foreman survive 12 rounds with Oleksandr Usyk

Probably his peak as a pro but he was much quicker when he was younger. Should've gone pro earlier.

Pfft. George was an Olympic GOLD medallist after a handful of amateur fights. If your great thats easy work (hint Joyce isnt close to great).

Frazier and Norton had more talent than Parker. Both hit harder too. Parker is medium talent personified. The heavier he is the worse he performs. Unfortunately him and his team are too thick to realise this.

Foreman would look terrible after three rounds against Usyk.

 

I think Usyk could beat Foreman at any stage of his career, which is saying something because prime Foreman was borderline terrifying.

Usyk just has too many tools, and he can be hard to hit cleanly.

I don't see a knockout or stoppage, but George would be swole up good.

 

I always think it is surprising how often Joe caught Usyk in this fight!! A one sided but competitive fight where one can argue Joyce shows the template, in places, for beating Usyk...How good is Usyk to watch though...

 

Coming from someone who reckons fat 5’9 James Toney also stops Foreman let me say I take all your opinions on Foreman with a massive pinch of salt and a smirk.

 

You might not enjoy hearing it, but Foreman never lost a fight until his 41st bout. Joyce lost in his 16th and actually has 4 losses in just 20 fights.....period.

It’s because Foreman was a young man fighting trash and Joyce was fast tracked through top comp bc of his age.

 

Foreman won the title (and lineal claim) off an ATG via destructive KO and defended it with another blistering KO of a top 4 heavyweight. Hardly trash. How did Joyce go on this fast track when he fought the top heavyweight in the world for all the marbles?

Prime Foreman was only knocked down by exceptional power puncher Ron Lyle, Ali and Young; the latter two only knocking him down when he was tired. Usyk has fast hands, exceptional skills and unparalleled stamina, but he doesn't have the power to knockout Foreman (unless if a mishap occurred like it did in the "Rumble in the Jungle").

 

It’s not like Joyce fought a murderers row himself is it despite what numbnuts says? A few no names, some has beens and a couple of flaky and flawed contenders in his very brief career before he was already washed up.

Big Joe is a nice guy but he isn’t very good sadly. He was beaten by Derek Chisora! Everyone decent beats Chisora but Joe couldn’t. Zhang is heavy handed but low output and fades badly and quickly. He still splattered Joe. He was hyped for beating Dubois and Parker, two guys with questions about their true worth that still remain.
