Briedis. Too fast and sharp. Tough and durable as well. Either stops Wardley late or wins a competitive but clear UD.
I was watching something the other day where they were interviewing him in Latvian. They asked him about a comeback, and he said something to the effect of, "the arm is feeling better." He was never right after the the Usyk fight, and had to get two surgeries. But if he's feeling better...a last run at heavy? Or maybe Wlodorczyk for the Bridgerweight title would be a good target.
And he STILL broke Opetaias jaw and took him close twice despite being a bit past his best. If he's even remotely healthy the Bridgerweights dont have a prayer but that division should just **** off and die.
I reckon prime Briedis stops him I could see it being similar to Huni v Wardley as Briedis is fast and sharp like Huni but hits harder and has a better chin.
Big skill gap here. Latvian KO's him I'd say. What big puncher has 'fabio' really taken punishment from? Parker isn't a big puncher. We hear from the experts about the incredible power of the polynesians, strongest men in the world, but Parker just likes to box and stuff, that's why he struggles to KO everyone. The power is there but just not used in fights. Joyce did have a 'good chin' but as soon as he got hit clean by a real KO puncher he went down like a sack of potatoes. I think the same will happen to 'fabio'.
Briedis is................retired no? Or is this just a hypo? I normally don't pick CWs moving to HW and automatically say they beat a HW, this is one of those times I would. Wardley is not very good..............at all. And before I hear "he stopped Parker", I watched that man lose 9 rounds of that fight then get real benefit and quick shenanigans from a ref. His last two fights in a row he probably lost 17 rounds. Briedis is superior in every facet other than size. I don't see the scenario that he catches Briedis with something silly (and that's his only chance)
Briedis is/was fast and sharp. I don't know about this one, but putting a bet on it I'd probably pick Briedis by decision.
The Charr KO by Briedis was brutal. Charr ain't on Wardley's level, but it proves Briedis got power at HW.
