Boxing is boxing, so who knows exactly what will happen. However, personally I think your scenario is unlikely.

Mauricio is a shameless pig, but the WBC have already come out and said Usyk must fight Kabayel next or drop the belt. So that puts them in quite the bind if they want to allow Usyk to fight Wardley. Kabayel would have grounds to sue, they'd lose what little credibility they had left as a sanctioning body, etc.

Also, while I can see why the fighters would want Usyk v. Fury 3 to happen because they think it'll be a giant payday, I just can't see it happening. Nobody in their right mind wants to see that fight. To get those two in the ring together it'll cost you at least $200 mill. So you'll have to sell a ton of PPVs to turn a profit. It just won't make money. So you're raising a giant stink for putting on a fight no one cares about plus lighting a fortune on fire because it won't sell.

I like him too. After he was done with boxing, he went 2-2 in MMA. Just one tough Pole.

And he knocked out a guy while pinned on the ground. I don't know shyte about MMA, but heard it does not happen often.
