Let's say they ran it back 6- 10 months later.
Lewis comes in motivated,as fit as he can get at that age.
Klitschko makes adjustments after having early success.

Is it the end of Lewis, start of the Klitschko era?
Or is Lennox leaving as still champ?

Lewis would be in top shape if he run it back again. I think that would be enough to offset the decline/extra decline. TKO or decision. Vitali just isn't quite good enough to beat a somewhat past prime Lewis.

The thing is Lewis probably retired because he felt he may not be able to get in top shape again.

I am not gonna predict here myself I prefer to leave it as a what if.

Honestly Lennox would have won the first one. Vitali blew his load and started getting his ass handed to him in the last 2 rounds before the fight was stopped.

Vitali didnt have the power to take him out

I'm with you on this, John.
And I think it's imprinted on Vitalis mind the end result of the last fight.
I see either a decision win for LL or Klitschko cut up again even.

Yes agreed, his motivation had waned. What i mean tho is that if he did decide/have to to rematch he would get himself in top shape. He'd know he'd have to as Vitali had his moments against a pretty poorly trained Lewis.

Don't forget, Lewis had been training for Kirk Johnson, not Vitali.

Lewis technical knockout he would open up one of the cuts from the first fight and Vitali would accumulate too much damage again

This depends upon a massive number of assumptions.

It didn't happen for a reason.

    Lewis didn't want it.

So what is our scenario here?

Lewis still doesn't want it, but somehow gets pushed into it?

Lewis feels stung by the criticism of him, and puts everything into one last great fight?

Those are two very different scenarios.

Lennox has just enough left to win decision.

Lewis would prepare better and either win by UD or late TKO.

They both would've been better prepared but Lennox would simply understand the best way for him to smash Vitali's face and he'd have been doing it from jump and it would be ugly for Vitali, I think.
