Murat Gassiev targeting Zhang, Hrgovic and Itauma for next fight.

lol! Gassiev was going to test that chin of moses real quick if moses had picked up the phone to accept the fight. He knew it too

 

You think Itauma is going to stop teasing good fights and finally step in with someone who can punch a bit?

I wouldn't be surprised if he dangles it, then fights another pillowfist journeyman or corpse... It's becoming a pattern.

 

In my opinion it would be interesting to see Gassiev against Itauma (WBA No. 1 ranked) or Hrgovic (WBA No. 4). Itauma fights in just eight days, after the Franklin fight we'll know his future plans and whether he can be Gassiev's next opponent or if we'll have to remove him from the roster.

 

Itauma has 13 fights his opposition is gradually stepping up in quality.

Fight 14, Mike Tyson fought a fella called Sammy Scaff, KO 1.
Fight 14, Wlad Klitschko fought Marcos Gonzalez stopped in the 2nd.

Itauma should be fighting who he is fighting.

 

IDK what his current abilities are, neither do you. I said probably. I'd be more worried about the fight falling through.

 

Gassiev sucks. Anyone who loses to Otto Wallin is pure dog shite.

 

I hope Hrgovic could land a fight against a Wilder or Fury as their comeback, at least he would earn money

Tyson fought 13-14times a year. Itauma 2.

I am not saying you are wrong, but they should not be selling him as some sort of boy wonder being fast-tracked to glory. He ins't.

 

Guy, I am fan of the guy, and you are obviously not, but I want you to take a couple of things into account, here.

1) He doesn't suck. He just doesn't. He had a brief but spectacular cruiserweight run, and now, regardless of what you think of it or how he got there, he in on the cusp of being elevated to WBA heavyweight champ, which will make him one of four people to go from cruiser to heavyweight champ. He will have will have a real, tangible legacy in this sport just for the good cruiserweight competition and the unique achievement.

2) What he has been is plagued by injuries since the Usyk fight. He's broken both arms. I heard his team claim that he re-injured himself in that Wallin fight. It may just have been a terrible style match up for him to go up against a 6'5' southpaw boxer. Regardless, it is not shameful to lose a fight. Things happen in there.

3) The guy has mad power in either fist and a beautiful arsenal, and his signature hook to the body looks better than it has in in seven years.

That's all. Don't sleep on Gassiev, because he already has great accomplishments. He can only build.

 

I remember I was so hyped on Gassiev after he knocked out Shimmel, then made his way through the super 6. Then Usyk absolutely clowned him in one of the biggest shut outs ive ever seen, and I haven't watched a single fight of his since, not because I dont want to, but they're just nto advertised

 

Only idiots listen to "they". You're not an idiot, you know Itauma isn't at that level.

People who want to see Itauma fail are the ones saying he should be fighting top level opposition. If his team know what they are doing and want the best for him then this is the route to take.

 

The problem with that is that he and his team are doing a lot of bragging and making like they want the top.

I don't want Itauma to fail. There are some very big red flags going up around him, like his infrequent schedule, turning down good opponents after boasting, injuries and bizarre interviews.

I don't mind him taking a slow route and developing himself, but let's be up front about it. Why create a hype machine to derail.
