Shavers, probably in the first round. Shavers was a quick starter, Grant was extremely slow one. He was knocked down 8 times in the first round in his career

Shavers by brutal KO, that overhand right would be there from the off.

Up for grabs for me. I know Grant gets a bad rap around here for being a pushover but he could be tough and was a very big man who could punch. If shavers is winning this it has to be fast and early or he might get mauled himself

I think Shavers would catch him.

People sometimes forget that Shavers himself was a glass cannon. Grant was a 6'7 athletic modern HW with a ton of weight, size and reach over Shavers. pre Lennox defeat and injuries/losing streak and decline he wasn't the worst and would definitely be live in this fight.

And he still looked far from impressive tons of times pre Lewis/Golota. Against Cole, Anis, Wooden, Sullivan. Was always hittable, never could undertsand high hopes for him

Yeah he was definitely overhyped. I think out of a necessity to hype a young American HW. That being said I'd still give him a good shot against Shavers.
