Jared Anderson vs Solomon Dacres set for May 9 in Manchester

If Jared Anderson doesn't get a KO inside the first three rounds against Dacres (journeyman level, imo), we are never getting the Jared Anderson who knocked out Jerry Forrest in 2 rounds. Jerry Forrest, for those who don't know, is a 30-6-2 fighter that beat Michael Hunter and Jermaine Franklin, even though he got robbed of a win and drew against Zeili Zhang and only lost to Takam and Pulev by decision (so not a top ten guy but definitely top 15 at the time).

Anderson is better than Dacres, and is more proven. I think it will be an ugly fight but I expect Anderson to outpoint Dacres.

I hopped on the Anderson hype train early doors, sadly he doesnt have the heart or the dedication to reach his potential. Anderson should beat Dacres but I wouldn't rule out an upset.

 

Jared Anderson loses to almost anyone in the current top 30. So they put him up against easy opponents to generate hype again.

 

I would say top 20. But agree, Anderson just doesn’t have the power or stomach for the top level.

The current HW division is pretty poor.

I didn't even know top rank still exists. There is no boxing on free tv in the USA. I refuse to pay to watch any sport on tv. Let them all die. They're all rigged to an extent anyhow.
