Who Hit Harder Deontay Wilder, Earnie Shavers or Wladimir Klitschko?

Nobody has actually stopped Tyson Fury. Wilder came pretty close though, followed by Usyk.

 

Earnie shavers was old in most fights that were broadcasted.

Shavers had around 75% pure knockout to stoppages.

Average for big punchers is around 48- 50%.

The only other One with similiar Numbers to shavers is Jerry Cooney.

 

So My answer who the hardest punchers who were lived is... Earnie Shavers.

 

Shavers never knocked Holmes out.

They fought twice, with Holmes taking Shavers' best shots without going down.

Holmes won the first fight by a wide decision, and in the second fight he knocked Shavers out.

 

none of that matters to those who want to get their pitch forks out.

 

Wilder didn’t ko fury twice due to a refs decision.

Many refs would have stopped both fights and there wouldn’t have been any complaints.

The decision was made to stop wilder in 2nd fight whilst he was stood and fighting back.

usyk also didn’t ko him due to a refs decision.

Refs decisions make a world of difference and have protected fury a few times

Shavers - You only have to hear what his opponents say about his power - Boxers often will say a guy who they beat hits harder than someone they lost to. I'm not saying Shavers wasn't a hard puncher, but you really can't go by other boxers' sometimes.

Wilder - Due to his number of KO`s,admittedly against inferior opposition - Wilder is a funny name that has come up lately. His form is ****. Additionally, he is very light relative to his size.

Vlad - Never impressed me. How can a muscular HW with solid form (and speed) not impress you? You've probably not seen all his KOs because there are certainly impressive ones there. Wide variation of styles he has knocked out with different punches.

I don't understand how you get this wrong.

First fight I agree, he was given the benefit of the doubt that many wouldn't have been given. While the decision was good for the sport, the argument that Wilder was robbed of a stoppage win has some merit. Same applies to the Usyk fight (though I felt Fury rode a lot of the punches pretty well all considered).

Second fight was rightfully stopped as Wilder was too damaged to continue and his team threw in the towel.

Third fight wasn't very controversial for me. Absolute war and the ref gave both fighters the chance to come back.

 

Fury has only fought old men, feather fists and bums.

 

usyk fight he got a standing 8 count for some strange reason. It’s not amateur boxing. And he wasnt being held up by the ropes so if ref steps in it should’ve been a tko.

Just like what happened in wilder 2, although I think fury’s was worse as wilder was throwing back.

3rd fight there was a fairly long count which the commentators mentioned too, fury looked done.

Off the top of my head, the one punch of all three I would have least wanted to receive is probably the one that got brezeale...

 

How exactly was the benefit of the doubt in the first fight good for the sport anywhere but the UK?

 

Got us a good trilogy and got some movement in the division.
