Foreman isn’t getting one shotted by anyone though, that’s a big weakness of Lewis and Wlad’s resume next to Foreman.
Foreman would be a favourite over anyone Wlad beat, but he’s not getting knocked out by nobodies like Wlad did.

This is a good point. If Foreman is overrated then Joshua is a total hypejob.

Try reading Tyson fans try and justify him getting his **** pushed in by Buster Douglas at 23, getting flogged by shopworn Holyfield at 29, fouling out like a coward in the Holyfield rematch, getting beaten half to death against a still older Lewis and folding like a deck chair against bums like Williams and McBride. There is a cavalcade of glazers (ironically usually Foreman detractors) perfectly willing to try and make excuses for these epic failures.

If Foreman had half as many of these embarrassing losses your types would have a field day. Unfortunately for you the best you can manage is Zaire and Jimmy Young. Two losses that were hardly a disgrace no matter how you frame them at the end of the day.

The difference is Tyson has just as many haters as he does fans.

No one is saying they're a disgrace he lost **** happens. But making excuses for every single loss and treating him like a top 3 HW over 3 very good wins and a very short title reign is a bit too much. It says something that even Tyson despite all his setbacks had a better title reign.

No one seriously thinks Joshua is a top 3 ATG HW or even a top ten HW ATG.

Well, agreed, Young was world class during this period.
He landed double the amount of punches than Ali did in their fight and got robbed.
But how does this take away from Foreman? Young at this time was probably better than Douglas or anyone who beat Wlad.
You say he gets every excuse under the sun? Not really, he should be excused enough to be around the 4th or 5th best heavyweight.
He wasn’t knocked out by an inferior fighter than Young like Wlad or Mike were and should be above them which is all the ‘defenders of Foreman’ are trying to put forward for George.

It’s arguable if it was better since he never beat anyone close to a Frazier or Norton.
‘Longer’ title reign, a bit better than Wlad’s bum of the month title reign, sure.
Foreman shits on them both head to head and overall career, both of which mean so much more than beating a string of decent contenders with the title on the line.

Foreman has over Wlad and Tyson
    Better top quality wins
    Better Ko record
    Better longevity
    Better overall record

    Mike and Wlad have
More title defences, with not one particularly noteworthy prime opponent between them.

The later is much harder then the former. Its why having long reigning champs is rare but getting a win over an ATG is more common.
