mahkmudov blows. Fury shouldn't have a difficult moment in this fight and it shouldn't see the final bell

Fury comes in overweight and struggles to win a decision à la the Ngannou fight. His fanboys say he just didn't take the fight seriously since Mak sucks, but a lot will see how badly he's regressed since the Usyk losses.

Physically he may be in good condition but mentally? Fury and his dad aren't speaking so Tyson better be locked in mentally and not distracted by drama cause that's a big man in front of him.

Maybe not having his crazy old man around might be better for him.

Been backing Makh from the start; he's nowhere near Fury's level in general, but Fury is 38 in a few months and has already taken years off his career with his lifestyle. He's also got a lot of battle scars from the Wilder trilogy and getting smashed all over the place by Usyk in the first fight. I think Fury is going to overlook him and make a mess of it. Just like he did with Ngannou. He's already talking about a potential Joshua fight.

We've seen plenty of ex-champions lose to inferior opposition as they try to chase it one last time. Fury is particularly at risk because of his alcohol and drug abuse, as well as how careless he can get in the ring when he thinks he's in control.

I think a part of everyone suspects this. Not saying it is going to happen, but its on everyone's mind, no doubt.

Is that even real? Or maybe it's creating and excuse if he loses (I told him not to!). Or maybe John is just a little butthurt but its not that big a thing?

    I don't know.

Fury by stoppage. Mak just isn't in that league.

If you watch the rematch with Usyk closely, you can see how shot to hell Fury's punch resistance is at this point. Every time Usyk landed his left hand Fury was looking star struck. That's why he fought so defensively and kept his glove glued to his chin for most of the fight.

I don't know that Mak even has the ability to land on Fury, but if he does Fury could have some problems. If he fights AJ? Hoo boy, that's gonna be an interesting one. Fury doesn't have the power to put AJ into his goofy I can't recover and start doing silly stuff place, while AJ could absolutely put his lights out.

I see it going one of two ways, an older, slower, taking it lightly Fury gets put on his arse and wins a close decision.

    Or

A focused Fury outboxes him to a mid round stoppage.
