    1- Muslim Gadzhimagomedov

    3- Pavel Sosulin
4- Nikita Zon (I believe he is the most talented in Super Middleweight currently but without any real opportunities..).
    5- Bakhram Murtazaliev
    6- Pavel Silyagin
    7- Islam Salimov
    8- Vartan Arutyunyan

Do you actually watch these boxers fight? Or do you just go off what you are reading from their boxrecs?

    Because your list is bizzare.

I cannot find any footage of Islam Salimov's fights. So have you even watched him? If so, where?

Tukov and Zon look very average/mediocre to me, unbelievable that you have them high up.

    My list would be :

    1 Artur Beterbiev
    2 Dmitry Bivol
    3 Sharabutdin Ataev
    4 Muslim Gadzhimagomedov
    5 Imam Khataev
    6 Gleb Bakshi
    7 Bakhram Murtazaliev
    8 Murat Gassiev
    9 Pavel Sosulin
    10 Pavel Silyagin

If you don't wanna include Beterbiev and Bivol then add:
    Khariton Agbra
    Vitaly Petryakov

Prospects worth checking with a small number of fights (or who are still more focused on the amateurs)

Shumkov, Savvin, Bizhamov, Surov, Popov Sviridchenkov, Gadrabifikov, Chernichuk, Sadoma, Zangiev, Bibilov

To answer your question about Vadim Tukov the pressure boxer, he's a Russian with no amateur career, which is rare; he doesn't even have one amateur fight. He turned professional immediately, and his tight guard is reminiscent of old-school European guards. He's a very disciplined boxer, both defensively and offensively (in despite to be always pressure and agressive in the ring). He reminds me of Jaime Munguia, but more focused on defense. He puts on a show, and in my opinion, he deserves more recognition. He's the most well-rounded Russian boxer at the moment; I see no flaws in his boxing style except for his stamina at the end of a fight.

David Surov and Svetoslav Teterin both successfully made pro debuts, although at the time of this writing Tererin's fight is not being recognized by Boxrec yet. Surov appears to be the better prospect, as Teterin is a bit small, and a sucker for a jab, and any right that follows.

Not a terrible opponent for an up and comer, but Suslenkov should be looking for better at this point.

I'm not trying to troll. I said great amateurs and great pros - inclusive of both; that's the distinction. Phenomenal amateurs often don't become phenomenal pros was my point. Bivol was not a phenomenal amateur; he didn't medal at the Olympics or Worlds, but he is a phenomenal pro. It's very rare for a legendary amateur fighter to also become a legendary P4P pro.

Lomachenko was nowhere near as good a pro as he was as an amateur, losing to fighters like Lopez and Haney. Pirog was not a standout amateur, nor was he a particularly standout pro, except for one notable KO.

Gassiev barely had any amateur fights; Breidis is another one who doesn't count; he didn't win any international medals as an amateur. Madrimov has been beaten at the world level twice, and Murtazaliev has just been outboxed by Josh Kelly. I'm not going to go through the entire list, but plenty of the names you mentioned are not names that fall into the category of what I am referring to.

Povetkin was a much better amateur than pro, sweeping up European, World, and Olympic golds, but as a pro, he failed multiple drug tests and got obliterated by the top names of his era, such as Wlad K and Joshua. Usyk and Beterbiev are rare cases in which they were S-tier amateurs and pros. Surov looks like an S-tier amateur, but so was Povetkin. Until I see him as a pro, I am not going to make any bold predictions about him being the next Wladimir Klitschko anyway.

But WladKlit was a gold medalist. Usyk too. It's because the East Euros sometime spend too long and leave it in the amateurs.

If you include Americans, Sugar Ray Leonard, Muhammed Ali, George Foreman,Joe Frazier, Floyd Patterson, Pernell Whitaker, Evander Holyfield, Oscar De La Hoya...

Yeah, I'm not disputing it's an incredible boxing region, but the problems of transitioning from amateur to pro is the main reason I'm not getting too carried away with Surov just yet.

Lomo wasn’t a great pro? Do you watch boxing? Can argue easily he beat Haney. Went way up in weight. Fought with one arm vs Teo and it still could have been carded a draw. Won multiple titles fighting top talent way above his natural weight.

That isn't what I said. I didn't say he wasn't a great pro, I said he was nowhere near as good a pro as he was an amateur. Two different things. I've explained what I mean twice in this thread now. Lomachenko was one of the greatest amateurs of all time, an S-tier operator. As a pro, he did not achieve the same heights.

As an amateur, he is arguably in the top 5 P4P of all time; as a professional, he doesn't crack the top 50, maybe even the top 100. He lost the Lopez fight, and the Haney fight was closer than people make it out to be. He also went life and death with Salido. As an amateur, he looked undefeatable, and this did not translate in the same way to the pros.

Loma was a fabulous pro. I'd say he was A+ as an amateur, and A or A- as a pro.. So 'nowhere near as good' seems harsh considering he was P4P number 1, three weight world champion, unified, breaking numerous records as the quickest ever world champ and quickest 2 weight world champion and so on. (and he should have been undisputed). And the manner of his 'defeats', 2 of which simply were not losses and the other one he was injured and using one arm for half the fight and still it was really close.

If he'd have turned pro after his first Olympic Gold we all know with the unreal talent he had for sure he would have been A+ as a pro and achieved just as much as a pro. Turning pro as a featherweight aged 25, it's much harder to become an top end ATG pro than the likes of Mayweather and Pacqauio who turned pro as teenagers.

And Pirog's pro career was cut short cause of injury whilst he was an undefeated world champion and in his prime. We don't know what he would have gone on to achieve, but he was certainly impressive the short time he was a pro.
