Was George Foreman 6'3 or 6'4 the great debate.

I think this pretty much covers it. Just occasionally you do see his height specifically given as 6'3.5".

He was always listed as 6 3 but admit he looked bigger than all those other guys. What I know from playing basketball is guys measure themselves with their sneakers and socks on which gives an extra 1/2 to 3/4 inch then they round up. The NBA players are all 1 to 2 inches shorter then what they list. Boxers are doing the same. George looks like a true 6 3 which is really tall. I know I’m 6 3 and am really tall compared to others. I met Charles Barkley and looked him straight in the eye.

Foreman was a collosus. His height was always an estimate because there was no way of accurately measuring him. He only weighed about 220lb but in reality this was an agreed published weight because he was so dense with muscle and made of a titanium/granite hybrid that weighing him was impossible. He had his own gravitational field which manifested itself as an ability to cut off any ring he inhabited. When he fought, everything within a 12 mile radius had to be fixed to the ground lest it be sucked into the gravitational field he created.

 

100%. Foreman expanded and contracted constantly and so quickly that he always looked like he was the same size, but he was immeasurable by any human metric.

 

Foreman was famously nicknamed "Schrödinger's Boxer," as he could simultaneously be 6'3" and 6'4".

 

He beats them in every universe simply by existing. Big George is a state of unconquered being that does not depend on simplistic measures like results.

 

6'3½ I thought this was common knowledge for classic fans
