Dillian Whyte was coming off of 2 brutal KO losses, and went life and death with the husk of Wach and needed a British stoppage against Tetteh. Whyte was done by the time he fought Franklin. AJ was coming off of two back to back schooling at the hands of Usyk, and clearly wasn't in a good headspace after those fights. He was risk averse as hell in that fight, the vast majority of the RBR were saying as much for its entirety. It's pretty hard to KO a guy who doesn't want to be KO'd, especially when you're not even trying. Franklin gets slept by most young up and coming KO artists. His chin is decent, but also relatively untested.

moses would be stepping up his level of competition to such an insane degree, also the rico fight is just one fight and it’s not guaranteed it’s only time Usyk fights this year.

let’s actually see Moses in with someone who can punch and isn’t just a punching bag.

There’s absolutely no evidence that Moses can beat Usyk and I rate the kid but I’m not even sure he’s next man up either still lot of question marks and I see some holes in his game.

Joshua’s eyes are only on the Fury fight,a quick warm up then he will be gunning for the Fury fight . I’d still like to see Joshua rematch Dubois .

Precisely, he's also not a slickster with immaculate defense as many have deceived themselves into believing. He's a big blobby bum brought in to lose in epic fashion, who never presented even the remotest threat to Itauma. It's all part of th carefully managed illusion that's being crafted, which sadly many gullible British fans are buying hook, line and sinker.

I'd rate Franklin above Rico, and given Usyk's track record I don't see him taking another fight until next year. He's already showing signs of slowing down and should have retired after his second Fury fight.

I'd also like to see Moses in with someone a bit better. I think Kabayel is a good next opponent given their respective resumes.

If Usyk is at least as fast as he was against Dubios, then he would certainly find his counters against Itauma and at the same time, wouldn't be there to be hit that easily. Itauma is yet to fight someone who can properly move around the ring...

That being said, Usyk being 39 and wasting time fighting Rico Verhoeven certainly doesn't help.

Usyk can retire any day now and nobody would be surprised or hold it against him.
