Kabayel vs itauma

kabayel should be next in line for a shot @ a world belt first,he's the most avoided boxer in H/Ws

 

I reckon we see this fight sometime, somewhere later in the year for the WBC belt.

 

Kabayel wins this fight quite easily from what ive seen

 

Favor kabayel but if itaumas power is for real he could KO Kabayel

 

i dont see it happening. if wilder is able to get a lucky KO on chisora i see Wilder vs Kabyel in the summer to be the deciding factor on who takes on usyk next.

 

No Usyk wants no part of him & he's a danger & kabayel body work give him a chance of winning.

 

Might as well throw ituama in at the deep end before the money pond dries up...

Boxing has changed from the Floyd era of coddling and protecting zero's. Doesn't matter anymore. Already seen a gen of fighter **** their talents away with lack of risk taking, no reason ituama should join them but I'm not sure these ancient promoters like Warren are wise enough to recognize this. Ituama needs to get thrown in deep end nothing to lose.

 

I wouldn't quite reach that far if I was Itauma management. He's been fighting mostly Bartender level. He needs to fight a nice solid B level guy who's a bit young. Like Jared anderson or [url]Murat Gassiev[/url] or [url]Efe Ajagba[/url] or [url]Justis Huni[/url].

There's no need to push him up the ladder quite that fast.

 

Ajagba and Gassiev would give him rounds, but that's about it. Huni and Anderson get blown away in the same fashion Franklin did. I think Hrgovic is a good next opponent.

 

I don't agree at all Huni has just as fast of hands as he does. Regardless of option's a young guy would be what I would seek if I were his management.

 

Huni is a solid technical fighter, but he doesn't have the chin. He might do well for a few rounds, but as soon as Itauma lands, it's over.

 

You just can't base all that on 1 loss on a fight he took on short notice. It's a major over reaction. To a Class A fighter no less. The guy is just starting out...There's no track record of a weak chin. Sure Itauma could knock him out, but speculation doesn't mean much.

It's the exact reason i'm saying taking Itauma slow. The very thing you're criticizing Huni for... he was 12 fights in fighting A level guy. Huni was winning the fight before the knockout he was out performing expectations

 

I'm not basing it all on 1 fight; he got wobbled and stopped a few times in the amateurs, too. Also, you don't need to have a weak chin to get knocked out by Itauma. Franklin had a sturdy chin and has just been on the end of one of the knockouts of the year. I don't dislike Huni, and he's a solid test for anyone. He was a very good amateur, and he's obviously a good pro, but his chin will let him down.
