Both aggressive, fast handed and knockout first fighters. Both also had a lot of hype as they progressed through the ranks etc. Hyped built around their explosiveness and KO's and as a possible future champion. Who can forget that press conference from Rocky 5 as well after the Union Cane fight!
Even Morrison is a step too far, there's not anyone to face that has equivalent explosiveness, power, technique, bad intentions, sure he was no Holyfield or Lewis but Morrison at his best was a level above, top 5 heavyweight left hook
Itauma would obviously mop thr floor with Morrison. Morrison was exposed as early as the fight with that unknown EE cruiser.
Agree Tommy Morrison has proved a lot more than Itauma - I'm basically comparing their styles, their rise and the hype.
Itauma hasn't proven anything, but Tommy Morrison did have his limitations. Who was that Eastern European CW called again? I'll check out that fight.
Vaulin. I don't think Itauma's team would've matched him with McKean and Balogun if they were hiding something. Balogun basically ended Tre Lippe Morrison's career, ironically enough.
Morrison lost every round to Yuri Vaulin before breaking him down to the body. He had alot of issues with the Southpaw style. This content is protected
Itauma in a one-sided beating, the guy who gets knocked out by Bentt has no business against Itauma in the ring...
