Sebastian Fundora vs Roberto Duran 154lbs bests

My memory and description of that fight is 100% accurate. Again see post #22.

 

Fundora is 100% a product of day before weigh ins and a system that has adapted to that.
That said, beating Keith Thurman doesn't really prove much. Thurman has never been any good. At 37 and very inactive he is not even as good now as he was at his peak when he wasn't a good fighter. The fact that he has constantly been involved in money fights stands as testimony to the sad state of boxing and the real lack of talent and depth.
Duran vs Fundora...well, Duran is no Keith Thurman. He knows how to close distance, he knows how to feint and how to fight inside. Fundora is taller than Tommy Hearns but that is about it. He doesn't hit like Hearns and the difference in skill level is almost infinite.

 

He's just a freak. He walks around at 160 or less, apparently.

 

Duran folds him in two by the finish.

 

Duran versus the guy Brian Mendoza flatlined? That's the match-up here?

 

People on here are just not used to a tall guy being naturally skinny. Its very weird.
