Tyson didn’t accomplish much,well aside from picking up every Title and Belt there is to win in Boxing (except lb for lb no1,Undisputed) and defeating two long standing Champions away from home. I fully agree Tyson is not everybody’s cup of tea but to lump him in as a clone of his father is like I previously mentioned harsh !

For instance, he claimed that Fury ducked Haye, when in fact Wlad's biggest win Haye pulled out on 7 days notice with a dodgy cut, then cancelled the fight, wasting a year of Fury's career.
It’s well documented that Haye pulled out twice from the Fury fight,September 2013 (cut) and also February 2014 (shoulder).
Always liked Wlad but his embarrassing loss to Fury combined with his embarrassing loss to Sanders showed me he was very good, but never great.
Fury UD or mid-rounds stoppage, both Dave Allen, and especially Kabayel showed Mak's deficiencies for anyone with the level to take advantage. If Fury can't clearly dominate Mak then he should hang 'em up
I'd say that as the A-side, he was a H2H great. Very hard to beat in his 30's with the ref on his side. He also had great discipline/longevity, and coming back from the first 3 losses to dominate required underrated determination.
Fury inside the distance I think Fury will go to the body and follow the Kabayel blueprint I thought the body shots troubled Makhmudov and think Fury will have seen that and look to do similar, working the body before going upstairs more
I will add that under Steward, he was much better. Probably doesn’t take any of the 3 losses he had early on in his career to Ross, Lamon and Corrie. His dominance under Steward is undeniable. Felt the wide loss to Fury really hurt him. Had it been a closer fight, maybe not so much.
I should rephrase, great in the modern era, but I’m not sure about all time, he was definitely the best heavyweight in the post Lennox era and that’s not even up for debate.
