    Do you pick a divison.

    Do you pick a fighter.

Do you just watch the ppvs.

How do you consume the sport?

For the most part, I look at what happens at Heavyweight and mostly follow what is happening there. I also watch old fighters but that has nothing to do with it

When I was a kid I used to think boxers just fight randomly in the day and time. No training. Nothing. Just fight. When Douglas beat Tyson I thought they rematched shortly afterwards the same day when I saw the highlights on a different news channel. They said to show it was no fluke this is what happened when Douglas knocker him down. I thought they fought again. That was some of my first knowledge watching boxing.

Watched a Kostya Tszyu fight vs Pineda in 95 and Tyson doco. From there I got into it.. first PPV fight watched was Tyson vs Holyfield. Actually around 1990 or 91 I watched holyfield vs Bowe replay on VHS. By 1999 when we had cable I got into it watching PPV. First I watched live was Oscar. The rest is history. I was also an established amateur fighting over 300 times. Never lost. I was the best at knockout kings.

Watched Tua v Lewis back in the day, only really watched the occasional big event up until around 2015 where I started following the heavyweight division more closely.

If the name hasn't given it away, I'd consider myself a more casual viewer (especially compared to the likes of @CST80 ! :))

I've got a friend who watches fights all day everyday and gets paid for it. That's all he does. Walks one hour a day in the morning and night the rest is watching fights. Makes 1700 dollars a week.

I watch nearly every card that gets televised or streamed. I use the watchlist feature on boxrec and "follow" a particular boxer if I like their style. Leading up to each weekend I'll look at the watchlist so I can see who is fighting that I follow. I've got 355 boxers on that list currently.

Here and youtube which is plenty. Usually a prospect will be in my feed, I will watch his highlights and if he passes the eye test, I keep my eye on him in the future. The big fights are always on Sunday my time, thats when I like to hit up church early then illegally stream it live. Probably follow about 50 fighters. which isn't a lot at all these days due to how low everyones activity is. Also, the thread is how you follow the sport, not how you got into the sport. F in reading comprehension for so many folks these days lol

You are right but I answered both. PPV, No Limit fight nights and youtube and DAZN. I appreciate your due diligence in confronting this situation. I wish you a prosperous and fortuitous Easter this weekend.

    Kind Regards,
    Son of Chin.

Boxing has always been in my life, since I was a child. My father watched it, my uncle who lived with us watched it and my older sister watched it. So there's never been a time where I didn't watch the sport. I don't discriminate, I watch all divisions, most shows, all fighters and from all countries.

after following boxing for over 50 years, seeing thousands of fighters come and go, i now mostly follow only the fighters who i can tell are really good. I am a fan of the skills involved in the game, not the personalities. If they can fight better than the rest, im a fan.
