Bakole, Zhang and Hrgovic would be target practise, I dont think they would cope with the combination of Itauma's speed and power.

Hunter is being mentioned but he is past it now.

Anderson, Gassiev or Yoka will be lined up in the near future I'd expect.

Personally for me, id like to see him fight Huni next.

i’ll say it again, 14 fights, 21 years old, and if I’m correct, he only had 24 amateur fights. Absolutely no reason to rush him.

I really like Justis Huni and I don't know if he handles Itauma's speed and power, the guy is freakish like Fundora.

It's his own team that keeps talking about Usyk. It's the boxing media anointing him the new king of the division, saying he'd beat Usyk if they fought tomorrow.

So if they think he's that special they need to put their money where their mouths are and step him up. If they're just blowing smoke for hype then they need to STFU.

But its not good for his progression if he 21 and has only has about 5 rounds a year though against journeymen is it?

Right now I'm going with either Hrgovic or Gassiev, both solid but slow fighters. Gassiev is also the WBA 'regular champion' :duh , and a match against him could be worth Usyk's WBA world title (the WBA 'super champion' :duh) if the Ukrainian is stripped of his belt. But it could also be Vianello, although I think Warren prefers a more high-profile name. Let's wait and see who Itauma's next opponent will be.

Fury is a certified duck so he will never fight AJ or Dubois .

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't itauma mandatory for the wardley v dubois winner? If so, whatever fight he gets now will probably be low risk as it's all about cash and entertainment. People already want itauma in a big fight, so they gonna go with a low risk fight in july to avoid upset before the big one.

Realistically it's gonna be Bakole at best, but probably Wallin, Adelayde or someone of that calliber

Zhang has been able knockdown just about every opponent he has fought. His stamina prevents him from putting the clincher on sometimes. Moses MUST fight Zhang. He has no other choice.

What are you talking about? Itauma is going to have plenty of options. He doesn’t have to and probably won’t fight Zhang.

Zhang is a 4 round circus exhibit.

Hang on a minute, Zhang is 42, coming off a knockout loss, has not fought in over 14 months...Zhang is the one who lacks choices not Itauma. If Itauma fought him and searched him, what credit would he get? All that would get mentioned is his age and inactivity!

The thing is when you come with the hype, you kind of have to put up or shut up, don’t forget the fans pay their hard earned to watch these guys, and they won’t put up with being told one thing but sold another
Personally I’m fine with a bit of urgency now for itauma, it’s that time, he’s on the world stage now it’s going to be tough, every opponent from here needs to be an improvement from the last, hgrovic next would be a good gauge for us as fans imo
