Both have been in wars, especially Chisora, who has fought almost everyone, both are far from their best days, do you think this is their last fight?
If Wilder loses then I think this is his last fight. I cannot see any evidence in his last 3 performances that he has anything left. Chisora on the other hand despite his age and number of fights, has shown some decent form. If he wins, draws or loses this one then I think he still carries on fighting. It would take Wilder rediscovering something he has not shown since the Fury fights for him to beat Chisora.
I don't think Wilder will retire, win or lose. He still feels like he has more to achieve, rightly or wrongly. You can never really tell with boxers, but of the two I am more likely to think Chisora will retire after. To me, he seems more at peace with the possibility.
Wilder I think would probably fight on for the money if good enough fights come up - the question is more whether they would after a loss against a very declined Chisora... Chisora I just don't know - he's been aiming at the 50 for a while, it might be a release that allows him to retire regardless of the result... He seems at peace with himself in a way that makes me think it really might be his last fight, regardless of win/lose/draw.
I’m not a fan of making things about money but this is. Wilder is gonna knock this cowboy out. Wilder is touched by God.
I think it depends on how this fight goes. If it goes the distance and it was a close fight than I think neither man retires. If Chisora sparks him out than Wilder is done and I do believe he will hang the gloves up for good. I'm not sure Chisora will retire win or lose.
If Wilder wins, especially by KO, he feels like the type of "past-their-prime but still a name" guy Netflix would use for a future card.
The winner fights on. The loser maybe, too. Too much money in boxing for names that are already established. Boxing like everything else has become about brands. Like every joker is running around with gucci and prada like it means something, no matter if it is combined in taste. And millions know wilder and chisora and would rather watch them than itauma vs kabayel... See also mayweather, tyson, pacquiao, ...
