Just curious, are y'all starting to get that SOMETHING is wrong with the Moses Itauma narrative?

So your solution is for Itauma to pull a Kabayel and sit on the WBA mando for 3+ years?

He has a better chance chasing Usyk directly than by going that route, or picking up a title shot directly from a vacated belt.

Warren has invested a ton of money in a dunderhead with the IQ of a wet bag of noodles who takes a knee every time the going gets tough in the ring for him, you silly goose. So let's not pretend that ol' Frankie is some supreme judge of talent and character.

Itauma could barely get a fat, slow, nobody journeyman out of there in five rounds. Usyk cooks him. Only question is whether he wants to end it early like with Dubois or if he wants to torture the kid and take him deep before drowning him.

you’re doing Franklin a little wrong. Fat and slow, sure. Journeyman? Definitely not. He’s fringe world level. He wipes the floor with an actual journeyman. He literally did it 3-4 fights ago on a random DAZN fight night, had his wife and kids in the front row watching. Absolutely battered a journeyman, made him quit.

Franklin is defensively responsible and has decent skills.

I'd say Frank has made his money back plus more on Dubois

Lol. He said he wanted this when it was Pulev. And Usyk will be done by early next year, alternatively, he'll be in a mando spot.

    Excuses, excuses.

Not hard when you're the biggest promoter in Britain, are cozy with all the bent officials at the sanctioning bodies, and you can repeatedly get your man title shots and emailed belts he doesn't deserve. Any other fighter loses a step up match like Dubois did against Joyce while taking a knee has their career severely hampered, if not outright ruined. Then to take triple knees against a Lerena where they had to fix the fight to get you the win? You'd definitely be done at that point. But not ol' Daniel! Frankie got him a title shot against Usyk! Where he, uh, took another knee and quit. But fear not! Frankie made sure to get him in there against a morbidly obese Miller off his PEDs, then get the BBBoC to lie and say the cuts against Hrgovic were by punches and not the 20+ headbutts Dubois delivered, and then tah-dah! You've got Usyk's belt the IBF stole from him!

Dude just keeps failing upwards because Frank is there to save him constantly. And now, after having just been obliterated by Usyk in 5 rounds, he's got YET ANOTHER shot at a title. I seem to recall that the way things are usually supposed to work is you go to the back of the line when you lose a championship fight. Guess ol' Danny just has the luck of the Irish or something. I can just imagine him at his next job after boxing. He's driving a sewage truck, manages to crash it into a school full of children, and then he gets promoted to CEO.

Frank was nowhere number 1 when he signed Dubois

He was a calculated risk tbh as Hearn was miles ahead and could probably have signed him up at any given point

And no boxer goes to the back of any set of rankings after losing a belt or a title shot
I'm not saying that's right but it's facts

Dubois definitely doesn't deserve this current shot but as a consumer I'm gonna enjoy the fight itself

Usyk is like 40, I wouldn't be at all confident of him winning by the time the fight actually happens.

Moreover Itauma clearly appears to have a higher ceiling than Dubois who is the only contender Usyk has been able to stop

Usyk's nearly 40 and demolished Dubois without even entering 2nd gear. Itauma is 21 but was out of breath after 1 round trying to KO an obese guy who's not even top 20.

He's 21. Not too many 21 year old are being pushed to fight a top 10 guy. Not saying you aren't asking valid questions, but they are all negative. I mean he could realistically fight 3-4 soft touches a year for the next 5 years, having an impressive undefeated record and only be 26. If he's making everyone money, including himself, then what's the rush?

Usyk himself said he isn't done yet and that "38 is still young". In fact, you said as much that Usyk changes his mind every 5 minutes when you tried pitifully to defend his fight against Rico.

You seem hell-bent on Itauma taking on fights that either don't make sense for him or that aren't currently possible.

He just beat a durable heavyweight in 5 rounds and he hasn't even confirmed who his next opponent is yet. Pull your head in, because you're looking like a real idiot at the moment by rushing to judgement on a prospects unannounced 15th fight.

There is a thread about Dubios being overrated already. Go check it out.
