Aaargh.... None of the usual NYC bars are carrying the DAZN PPV (they keep mentioning something called "Final Four" .... ? ).

So I'm wrestling with shelling out that extra $50 above the $225 or whatever I pay DAZN annually ... to see a couple of has-beens even if I do like and want the best for both of them .....

Amir Anderson vs Jordan Dujon, 8 rounds @ Middleweight(ish?)

 

When Jordan Dujon finally scores a T/KO win, then they can call him Jordan The Dijon Dujon, because he has mustard in his fists!

 

Dujon is pretty crafty, starts off well by landing a few clean punches that seemingly surprise Anderson. He also blocks a lot of Andersons early punches which makes Anderson switch stance momentarily.
Anderson slowly builds up his offense and starts landing clean.

1-0 Anderson, but a relatively close round.

 

Anderson starts the second round southpaw, gets clipped by a quick right, and responds by pummeling Dujon in the corner.
Pace then quickly slows down.
This is pretty much a chess match, with Anderson occasionally exploding in flurries when he had Dujon on the ropes.

2-0 Anderson, who simply lands the more impactful punches.

Referee is allowing for absolutely no inside fighting.

 

They should have put Dujon in there with another featherfisted Brit, would have undoubtedly turned into a banger of a fight.

 

Dujon throws a Hail Mary haymaker that barely misses the mark. Anderson keeps showing lapses in defense, but Dujon is unable to capitalize.

Anderson is upping the pressure and starts battering Dujon in the corner. Dujon, clearly feeling these punches, turns from boxing on the back foot to smothering Anderson, trying to claim the center ring.

3-0 Anderson, whose power shows in the 3rd. The first one sided round of the fight.

Anderson completely in control in the 4th, slowly poking and picking away at Dujon.

Anderson lands a little low blow, closer to the hip, and gets a hard warning??? I like it, but damn this sport is inconsistent.
Dujon takes less than a minute to recover and the fight resumes.

Anderson gets Dujon in the corner again and starts battering him again.

4-0 Anderson, Dujon is cracking.
