Like the fight yesterday where Crolla the home town favorite was given every chance and won a come from behind KO after getting dropped 4 times. The brit home town ref favorite is so blatent

I know, have seen enough British fight cards and stoppages. Was just saying that for the standard of refereeing established in the UK the stoppage was not that early. Which is, obviously, still not a compliment...

 

Bentley has something of a young wilder . Inferior in boxing technique but dangerous to pull out a sudden ko .

 

This **** is making me root for Wilder here.

 

Yep if Wilder gets even slightly hurt the ref will wave it

 

He wasn’t throwing back, true. But he also didn’t go down, nor looking badly shook. Denzel threw a lot but then how many caught him flush? 2 or 3?

My initial take when watching was iit was premature and maybe dodgy.

Have just seen the last shot with the ref holding him and his legs had gone.

So maybe a better stoppage than it looked.

 

the rules don’t apply to Chisora. He’d need to be declared dead before a ref waived it off. And he’d never, ever be stopped on a cut, no matter how bad.

 

There’ll never be a worse stoppage than the 1988 Olympics final between Riddick Bowe and Lennox Lewis.

 

I’m English born and bred but some of these Refs and British stoppages are border line criminal ! Some of the greatest Boxing Matches in History have been were one of the fighters has come back from great adversity to pull off the win,fighters especially Foreign ones do not get this chance in Britain ! These fighters are fighting to complete there dreams and the glory that goes with it,only to be robbed of that moment !

 

2 close rounds in that last fight. bentley was in full control with his jab. saverda punhing nada but glove. easy fight to score, easy fight to see bentley was gonna run savera into shots as saverda came in desperation

 

Nope . You will find out in two hours that you are wrong . That stoppage was about ok and the ref will not wave it off until one opponent is clearly ready to go .

I assume you never ever boxed a second in your life ?
