    Masternak should consider hanging them up after this, he was never at the forefront of the division but he was stern opposition against anyone, however today he was totally impotent against Riley. As for Riley, he did what was needed but I'm still not convinced that he beats a contender that still has his vigour left.

    Why the vitriol?

    People who commit and spend the majority of their life and career in one area, tend to be better in that area than those who don’t.

    out of those who commit and spend their life doing something, only a few reach the top. This is the essence of competition, not everyone is a winner.
    If there are 27,000 active boxers, how many are going to be classed as the best in any given division/region?

    how many runners are in the world and how many are champions? Or how many win the Olympic gold? Does that mean p2 and below are useless?

    even the top sportsman from Jordan, Ronaldo, Woods etc all had coaches telling them what to do. If you think coaches/teachers aren’t neccasary, why does everyone use them?

    if you are more knowledgeable, why don’t you see if anybody will pay you for your knowledge. You may be onto a winner…


    Regarding intellect, this unfortunate expectation has hit boxing for some strange reason. Intellect is not a boxers role. No one in boxing is thinking their Einstein. They know their business/industry though. It’s not a university exam. It’s a physical sport.
