He fought 2 champions and didnt make the distance either time

 

Actually held the real heavyweight title and beat the champion

Beat Wilder by KO twice.. shouldve have won 1st fight on the road.. these 3 wins are better than anything that Vitali Klitshko did

As far as skill set goes that is more subjective but to me its Fury pretty comfortably.. Better defense and upper body movement can fight on the inside and higher ring IQ

That stuff is more subjective but I think objectively Fury had the better career accomplishments and victories ..

 

Holyfield was way past it at that point.. Joshua wasnt

Id still give the edge to Holyfield the 2nd time win over Joshua

 

Vitali doesnt have 15 title wins

Those fake title wins dont do it for me

Vitali has zero big wins.. Had 1 big fight and got stopped by an old Lewis..

Furys best 4 wins (including 1st Wilder win) > every Vitali win

Even the Dillian Whyte win would stack up nicely in Vitalis resume

Having 2 competitive fights with Usyk is also a plus to me

 

Im aware of his resume.. He also looked bad vs Vaughn Bean the fight before and looked absolutely horrible vs Lewis in the first fight and it was not because Lewis did so well but rather cause Holyfield looked shot on his own... Anyone in the top 10 wouldve beaten Holyfield that night

Usyk would never lose to fighters like Rahman, McCall and struggle with Mercer, as long as Usyk is undefeated Lewis can't even shine his shoes...

 

If you have Vitali at 15 title wins than Wilder has 11... cant have it both ways

 

Only 3 ranked opponents beaten at heavyweight. That's pretty thin. It would absolutely help him to count his cruiserweight wins legacy wise

 

You people make me sick. Fury was almost a decade past his prime coming off a horrible performance against an old Ngannou and his resume is thin in comparison but he's a better win than old Holyfield ? Old Holyfield would still beat joshua

Dubois gets his skull caved in by Tua and boxed up by TNT Tucker, both of whom were top contenders when Lewis beat them. Dubois might lose to Ruddock, and theres a good chance he would quit against Mercer

 

I agree but you don't want to add context to Vitali then no context for Wilder

Or you can add context for both

 

A lot of Vitali wins were against heavyweights ranked at the end of the top 10

Very unimpressive 2nd career after his injury imo

 

I would pick Lewis’s defenses but the gap isn’t as wide as I thought. Usyk just lacks variety of contenders another 1-2 defenses and I could see his as better. However facing Rico Verhoeven doesn’t cut it at all. What a waste of fight and for a fighter with very little time left at nearly 40.

 

Vitali quantity of lower tier fighters doesn't move me

If you value wins over fringe contenders like Adames, Charr, Solis etc enough to outweigh Furys significantly better peak then good for you
