George " Kid " Lavigne- anecdotes of his strength are legendary.
Soldier Bartfield - he beat a heavier and bigger Greb.
Jack Blackburn - he fought everyone and anyone, how did he get the scar.
Kid Norfolk- an uncrowned champ maybe, and looked menacing.
Kid McCoy - did he, as reported, get the idea of his corkscrew punch, from a cat pawing at a dangling ball of wool.
Joe Grim - was he really secreeted in a oil like substance, that helped deflect blows.
Ace Hudkins- did he not realise you can't outpunch a body puncher with body punches, Walker, but he did.

Braddock. He’s dismissed as a jabroni quite often on this forum, I think there was something there but as with Walcott it didn’t manifest itself until his dotage.
