I think Ruiz has Parker-type power, not overly huge power but still good enough power to knock you out...

What is he lacking? Knock outs I'd say

Face it, in the big boy division he punches average power wise

Remember this is a guy that really should be a light heavy if he wasn't fat

So what.. weight is weight. are you saying theres a lack of strength in the punch? Physics tell you power is a combination of speed and mass.
he has both. The only variable I can think of is a lack of impulse

"In mechanical physics, impulse is the measure of the total change in momentum () of an object, calculated as the product of the average net force () acting on it and the time interval () over which that force acts. It describes how a force changes an object's motion, usually applied to quick interactions like collisions or impacts"

    Lol on a heavy bag?
What about his entire career in actual fights?
I mean don’t get me wrong he ain’t Paulie Malanaggi
He is after all a heavyweight
But by that same token he ain’t punching Malanaggies either
because he is after all a heavyweight…
he just ain’t packing that kind of power for the division because he is severely over weight.

he should likely be fighting at light heavyweight maybe cruiser weight tops if he just can’t cut down to 3 tacos a sitting.

"It's obvious that Anthony Joshua is the better-skilled fighter and the way he fights, he's strong and throws a lot of punches. I sparred with him (Ruiz) and he is quick. I mean, amazing. Amazing quick. He's the only person I have ever said, awe shoot, I don't ever want to fight him. It was amazing because usually I can look at your body and tell you what you can do. I sparred with him. He got the best of me the whole camp. He's the first person that I ever fought that kind of made me make up my mind real quick that you know, if I'm going to get hit like this and I can't stop this guy from hitting me, but I knew that he's a good fighter, he's a good fighter."

how the **** not when speed is more important than mass for power and his mass is huge.

if you double speed you quadruple power...

If Canelo put on 100 lbs of lard he wouldn't be a massive HW puncher either, even though he's a quick-handed middleweight.

I dont know why you would bring him up. Canelo is not a fast puncher for his division.

He is a good fighter a damn greased lightning fast combo puncher
However that does not include thunder for the division he is forced to be in because he is carrying excess weight.

he is undisciplined & that’s why his ceiling is just
good fighter & not Great fighter.
